I used to play on a completely custom Mario kart server before people stopped playing on it a year or 2 ago. Lately, I've been feeling nostalgic for that feeling of going on a server not knowing what will happen or what people will be talking about. I figured I'd try and check on FP to see if anyone knew of a server that is A. mic spam friendly, B. people build massive engineer nests and have the other team attack it, or C goof off. IP Addresses are most welcome. Thanks.
A. mic spam friendly, B. people build massive engineer nests and have the other team attack it, or C goof off.
Unless you really want a server with a custom gimmicky map like mario_kart or something similar, you could just hop on any server running any version of cp_orange, or a reasonable part of the achievement servers. They are pretty easy to find in the serverbrowser when you sort by mapname. Most of these kind of servers should tick your boxes, though there is a chance you might get some additional: D. Gratutious amounts of racism and shittalk, E. Underage kids with a mic and push-to-talk disabled. So your mileage may vary...
Stuff
OP mentioned that he is looking for servers that have either the aforementioned A, B, or C things. He never mentioned that the server /should/ be a gimmicky custom map, hence I assumed that it wasn't a prerequisite. In which case anything from cp_orange and achievement_minecraft, to trade_plaza should be suitable for his needs. Either this, or I'm really messing up here....
2fort2furious was the best times I'd ever had. RIP. In an answer to your query, I dont know.
B. people build massive engineer nests and have the other team attack it
so tower defense
so any pub running an A/D CP map
FTFY.
so tower defense
I tried tower defense, but it seemed too similar to any of the control point maps where the focus isn't on picking a random part of the map and building defenses there. I could try a different server. The one I was on might have been a valve server.

End-level rooms like those are always hotspots for sentry nests. Maps I've run across that hold those places include Cyberpunk, a few of the more popular minecraft-based trade maps, Literally Every Single Mario Kart Map, and many big, wide-open surf maps not built around a single path (usually the older/classic surf maps). Since most of those music rooms are player-operated, (sans the surf maps) they're usually not good places for mic-spam. Aside from custom maps, 24/7 and 32-player CTF maps are amazing for strongholds and sentry nests. They happen naturally, but it's quicker if you attempt to start one on your own with a friend. People always join in, without fail. since you asked for IP's, here are a few personal favorites: 72.9.144.199:27030 - FUG's Hovel of Tomfoolery Huge map rotation, something like 60-70 maps switching out often. It's got the usual dice roll mod, along with some other "fun server plugins." They aren't big on micspam, though, but if the server's not too crowded, you'll occasionally find someone playing music. Most of the maps here are deathmatch/don't have a set objective. 142.4.33.2:27025 - WDZClan's 24/7 ctf_2fort_night This one gets crowded later in the day, but is usually empty early mornings. 32 players max. Unspoken rule of "Don't Cap, It's Pointless", so the games can get pretty strongholdy. Mid-afternoon it's mostly deathmatch, Late nights/weekends and it's a mix of peaceful and violent players. When it hits 3AM, everyone's doing the conga to Mambo No. 5 played over voicechat. There's a ton of regulars on the server, and if they're playing to fight, they'll still respect someone crouch walking to the intel room. Mic-spam's usually allowed during late nights or low player count. This is the average saturday night for this server: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14573214/tf2/screenshots/2014-07-12_00001.jpg[/t] Do take into account that until the Halloween season's over, both of these servers'll remain practically dead.
