• Can't see the glow on bomb carts and/or scottish resistance stickies? I found a solution.

So I've been looking around for a solution to the missing cart glow and scores stickies for a while; googling suggested everything from reinstalling TF2 (doesn't work) to forcing dx9.8 to a whole mess of other solutions. The only surefire method I've found is to disable anti-aliasing. I have not tested if driver-forced AA interferes with this, so feel free to try it. Obviously this isn't great for people with smaller or less pixel-dense screens; the only really beneficial result of the glow (in terms of gameplay) is knowing for sure where your scores stickies are when you want to detonate them. Just thought that people should know. Since so far, google hasn't caught any good, working solutions.
Eh I'll wait for a fix...Not going to turn off AA for something like this.
Should them glow? I didnt know.
Should them glow? I dident know.
yes them should glow now you dided know
Eh I'll wait for a fix...Not going to turn off AA for something like this.
I think forcing AA through the Catalyst/Nvidia panel should work.

I had no idea they glowed either. I do remember seeing a line around a cart in a video once, but I assumed that was a skin. :psyduck:
i need a screengrab
Turning off AA was mentioned in some thread on here where a guys listed loads of fixes valve need to do. http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=969848
Should them glow?
Them should totally glow.
Them should totally glow.
Why was them not glowing?

How does he pack up so easily after he fires a rocket? Is there some kind of script lying around that can help?
How does he pack up so easily after he fires a rocket? Is there some kind of script lying around that can help?
Why would you need a script to press one button?
You can see it pretty early on in the video.
this is the effect in question. It is also useful on scores stickies for hitting people you can't see but know are there without having to guess where the stickies are.
I know you need at least DX9 to see the glows.
I run DX9, and I don't see the glows at all...
Why would you need a script to press one button?
Every time I fire a rocket, I try and pack up my sentry at the same time but it doesn't come along with me. Do I have to switch weapons from the wrangler to do so or am I missing something here.
