I just got tf2 and ArmA and i wanna know about how tf2 works??? I know the gameplay but i cant understand the drops. I got to huntsman and 2 wranglers. Are the useless??
They're weapons, never useless...
There is a guide, It will explain you everything
Bind w to kill. It automatically kills anyone in front of you.
Bind w to kill. Any weapons can also be crafted to make other weapons. Its slightly overwhelming at first but you will get the hang of it soon.
Might I recommend http://wiki.teamfortress.com I'm sure I'll get shouted at for doing so, but it's there to help new people.
SDHGOIDHSGSLDg
Isn't being part of a bandwagon fun? He asked for help to do with TF2, nobody was being even the slightest bit helpful. And what better, than reading up on the game on the Wiki that's dedicated to writing all about the game. I'm surprised nobody suggested it. I guess they just wanted me to suggest it and subsequently induce this bandwagon shit.
Is there something bad about the tf2 wiki? It helped me out when I first started playing.
Is there something bad about the tf2 wiki?
The problem is Smashman posting about it every goddamn chance he gets. It's fucking annoying.
Don't wear the Ghastly Gibus unless you want everyone to look down on you
Don't wear the Ghastly Gibus unless you want everyone to look down on you
Skins bro, skins Also who gives a fuck what other people think of you.
The problem is Smashman posting about it every goddamn chance he gets. It's fucking annoying.
Yeah, shame on him for being helpful.
He put effort into it, why wouldn't he advertise it since it's helpful towards Tf2 players.
Play the game, learn from your mistakes, adapt. Back in my day there was no help.
All players with the mercenarie's badge MUST were Gibuses.
Hints involving Weapons: Scout: What Scattergun you use is mostly preference. Same for the bat. You should be using the Pistol most of the time, as the other unlocks are situational. Switch to them if needed. Soldier: If you use the Buff Banner, it is easier to build rage with the Default rocket launcher. Which rocket Launcher you use however, is preference. Also, use the Equalizer, it is useful on every Soldier loadout. Pyro: Compression blasts are useful in many ways, so stay clear of the Backburner. If you use the flaregun, use the default axe, or else you won't have anything to fight with against other Pyros or underwater. Use the Homewrecker on defense and stay with an Engineer. Demo: Stickybomb Launcher is preference, although Stickyjuming is easier with default. Always use Eyelander and Targe together. Once you get 4-5 Heads, feel free to switch to the Stickybomb launcher if needed. The Skullcutter is good with any loadout. Engineer: Use Wrench and Wrangler on defense. Pistol and Gunslinger on offense. Shotgun is preference, however the Frontier Justice is very good on offense. Heavy: Minigun is preference, Natascha is good for keeping Scouts and Charging Demos at bay. The KGB's crit buff is good when used with the shotgun, as it doesn't need time to rev up. If using the Sandvich, don't be greedy. Give it to a friendly Medic or another teammate who is tagging along with you. Medic: Don't stick with a single target, heal everybody you can. Don't feel afraid to pop an Uber if you are in a tight spot. Every Medic weapon is preference, although using the Ubersaw with the Kritzkreig is a tad unnecessary due to faster Uber build up, faster swing time with the default Bonesaw could save your life. Sniper: Everything is preference, although giving up your secondary weapon for the Razorback usually isn't helpful at all. If you use the Tribalman's Shiv, Jarate is your friend. Spy: Everything is preference. Default revolver is almost always better, for if you don't get headshots it is a all-around nerf. If you use the Ambassador, Cloak n Dagger is your preferred Spy watch.
He put effort into it, why wouldn't he advertise it since it's helpful towards Tf2 players.
Because it's a last resort thing.
Keep the extra items that you get. You can use them to craft metal, that can be later crafted into more weapons, or a stylish hat.
This isn't updated for the Engie update but it's still helpful (yes Smashman, I know there are images from the TF2 Wiki in this). http://www.tf2manual.net/blog/
All players with the mercenarie's badge MUST were Gibuses.
I'm a Mercenary and I have 1 or 2 hats for every class, so no.
I'm a Mercenary and I have 1 or 2 hats for every class, so no.
As someone playing since may 2008 and having only one hat which I recently crafted, this post bothers me. Avatar related.
As someone playing since may 2008 and having only one hat which I recently crafted, this post bothers me. Avatar related.
Sorry, mac. I give you my condolences.
I'm a mercenary. 4 hats :smug: [editline]10:33AM[/editline] Also, don't go on 32-man or instaspawn servers. It completely breaks the game balance. (Instaspawn gives RED an unfair advantage on Attack/Defence maps, 32 players turns the entire map into a spamfest)
Grizzled Veteran with no hats :frown: Also at the above post is correct, except I like 32 man servers sometimes because it's paced really quick.
This boy ain't right.
Try to stay to the <150 latency, server not full, users playing and not password protected filters. If you want a normal game, set the max player count to 24, too. Also, I'm a month or two off the Grizzled Veteran and I only got my first hat yesterday. Shooter's Shola Topi, pretty awesome. I would have preferred something more showy, like the Vintage Tyrolean, but it's a hat, it's good, and I love it. I shall call him Hugh.
Just play, you will pick it up as fast as everyone else. Valve even implemented a training mode for teaching you how to soldier.
