Gunslinger/Demo weapons still don't get random crits. I reckon the gunslinger should though.
Also that useless 3 hit combo is gone.

Actually, the combo, even though it didn't work half the time, was good for taking down heavies.

Random server = Randomizer server. It was a Scout with the Milkman set equipped, but randomly got Darwin's Danger Shield, Dolokoh's bar, and the Gunslinger. 250 Health Scout with full crit combos. Scary shit.

Actually, the Scout was a Spy in disguise. As a Heavy. So he could use the lunchbox items. :c00lbert:

Actually in some versions of Randomizer you can. It just switches into third person for the duration of the consume taunt and then pops back into first when the effect hits.
Huh. If that's true, they must've made some big changes since I last played.
Well at least this doesn't affect combat Engineers in any way.
Though I'd prefer 3-hit-combo plus higher normal damage, rather than having random crits and -25% dmg
but it's totally fine either way.
We're all forgetting something important.
The Powerjack doesn't have its damage bonus back yet.

Honestly, because the -25% damage actually meant they just removed it's damage bonus, I've been ok with that change. Before, aside from having no random crits, the Powerjack was a straight upgrade of the default Axe. Now there's a little more balance between because they do the same damage, one just has the ability to alter your health more.

Yeah, but the problem is that the Pyro's melee slot isn't balanced around his Fire Axe anymore, so if this is balanced with his default Axe, that means it's sub par compared to everything else.

Truth
People are whining because Powerjack used to have +25% dmg over the original axe, PLUS it heals on kill. Needless to say, it was powerful, and only weapon that would compete against it is the Homewrecker, but that's situational too.
Non-skilled pyros comes to mind, unfortunately
And on a side-note, I don't care what buffs/nerfs pyros get, I don't even play the class.
the powerjack would have been ridiculously overpowered in the hands of any class that wasn't the pyro, but because they had to give up the axtinguisher for it it's basically balanced for them.
