How to sentry jump

Most of you already know how to, but this is for newbies to the engineer class or the game. Or the wrangler itself.

Well good for you then. The only thing I thought of the wrangler was that you could manualy control your sentry.

Rocket jump and crouch mid-air, take out any other weapon and stay crouched (don't switch weapons until you land), land and stay crouched. Your walking animations are gone until you stand back up.

I attempted to replace every soldier voice line with that kid saying, "FOR STARTERS," in the video.

Needless to say, I wasted my time with that. I could barely hear him saying it.

God, this. I got to maybe 20 seconds and couldn't stand his voice and stuttering. It's just horrible.

How about the other sentry jump, one where you push yourself upward with the bullets. It's not as effective as the rocket-sentry jump, yet still useful if you only have the mini sentry.

I still don't understand the point of Sentry Jumping. The Engineer doesn't have nearly enough health to survive more than one, and if you mess up you just humiliate yourself. Plus it's not like you can build a sentry up on wherever you land because you'll run out of metal once you destroy the old one, and then what?
