Some of my kill icons are missing, (pink and black checkers) after I installed replacements, and tried to remove them. Verifying game cache does nothing, and I don't want to reinstall the [I]entire[/I] game.
What can I do?
Look for the killicons in your folder and delete them, then verify game cache again?
Either that or you were playing on a pure server and you had killicon skins
Are you playing on sv_pure 0 servers? (if custom killicons)
I hope you know that all your maps, skins, settings are still saved if you uninstall and reinstalling. it only takes and hour or two.

Well, they are missing in Offline Practice, which I'm pretty sure is "sv_pure 0."

I guess that would be the best thing to do, so... I'll just do that and reinstall all my fixes.
Well if it was one of me or Hecates packs, you can just delete scripts and your fixes should mostly remain intact (hud mods won't)

It's all good. I deleted materials, models, and scripts.
Off I go, to re-install my fixes... (except for kill icons)
