Anyone else notice that on the contribution webpage it says Team Fortress 2 is set in the 50's?
Wasn't it confirmed earlier that Tf2 is set in 68?
I belive they are from different time's
They were talking about the style.
It's in the 'Aughties, are you stupid?! :fuckyou:
The calender I saw in 2fort said "1968"
But most off them talk like a todays person
(do you think that scout would talk like he does in the 50-60's?)
Does it matter?
There are teleporters, Bullshot.
Therefore there doesn't have to be any correlation about the time period.

Except for the style, and that's what it means.
Apparently 50 owns an 'or' and 60 owns a question mark. Interesting.

It's 60s-era spy pulp. Those types of characters always had tons of gadgets that didn't really exist.
The scout knows he's in a video game though.
Really? How? :byodood:
The calenders in the game say June 1969.
Spytech is the style of that 50s era as TH89 said, if you play gmod or mess around with models you'll see that alot of the props are under a folder called spytech
I'd say so far the style rests neatly into 1955-1963. The calendar prop dates are there just to throw you off.
The Batters Helmet was first used 1971 in Maior Leuge,so i owned you all.
I like Baseball.
