Indeed. I have looked in the items_game.txt file and found that valve has made a head slot token. Now, this might be just speculation, but if it follows the same rules as the other tokens, then it should be craftable by using a hat and one slot token. Edit: I have also found a nade slot token. Hat plus Character token does nothing, tried the Cowboy hat with Pyro token zilch. If I had some shit, I would try for a slot token Which set was the glove in?

Edit: That is a slot token. I am guessing that it is put in as a failsafe in case some one breaks the system and accidentally crafts a grenade slot token, which was made back in beta before they found nades suck ass.

Its in code, but not possible to create. The bottle icon is a placeholder. There is also a PDA coin (Not to be confused with PDA2 coin).
Well, Uneless some one comes in here saying that they tried to craft a primary (example) token with a hat and it failed, then we have no clue if it is impossible to create. As for the PDA, it is also a place holder as I have said for the nade slot. They put it there because it is a slot and thus, needed an "item" to help keep it from erroring. But for the PDA slot, it is useless due to there being no unlockable PDA items.
Not yet atleast. Oh, and theres a building coin in there too. And hat coin, though I'm not sure if thats the same as head coin. In any case, I've tried it before with my Mirror and it didn't work. Sucks.
sadly, I wish we could do this. Then I could ensure a simple crafting of a soldier hat with the make specific weapon blueprint. soldier token+Head token+Scrap metal = happy omega :downs:
You are aware that these have been in existance since the release of the War update?
I have just found these my self, but I am sure that they might have been in since then.
Since the war update's release. They are placeholders and are uncraftable.

Maybe, the grenade slot is used with those new sticky grenade launcher models found a while ago. I dunno, just what me thinks.
I've already coded the PDQ using those attributes, and it can go above 1.3. Search this forum for TF2 Beta Weapons.

The slots as well as the slot tokens have been around since forever. The only slot-related thing added in this recent update was a slot for custom primary ammo. I'm interested in what they're doing with that.
