That's almost 100 MB of maps right there. Is anyone getting random crashes after the update? My game just crashed on a death, two times in a row and closed itself without the "hl2.exe has stopped working" pop-up, and then got locked on the main menu when I started it up again.
There is a second 6.7 MB update to fix crashes: Fixed a crash related to picking up dropped weapons
