When you could simply type "Tf2 Beta" and noticed that there isn't any download link for it. You decide to creat a whole new thread just for this.
Also most of the things wouldn't probably work, like drop system etc. Cuz they aren't connected to the game but to some other thing Tf2 Team (or Valve) is controlling(?) atleast that's what my guess is.

Team GabeN was working on a recreation which went nowhere and I really doubt you will ever find a link to.
To be honest I DO have it and trust me you do not want it. It barely works, there's nothing interesting. It's essentially a mod made of recreations and guesses. No I'm not going to upload the big ass file. It isnt worth it.
There was no real tf2 beta released to the public besides two, maybe three, models in the leaked half life 2.
Just go look up pictures and concept art of old beta content or download the ported alien and soldier models to gmod and play with those. Seriously the "beta" we have is terrible and not worth anyone's time.

I actually did play the beta when it first came out (the second one at least), it only had 2 servers (In the entire world btw) i could join and both of them would freeze me (The command one) every 3 seconds and an admin would kill me. The oh-so-special weapons aren't that much of an amazing thing either anyways. They are mostly beta versions of thing Tf2 Team added (or wanted to add) anyways. So, it's not worth wasting time, just like you said.

Myself and a good few other people were heavily involved in the "valve game beta community" or whatever you want to call it. We have tried multiple times to contact valve and get content. They never respond and will never give out their shit. There are [B][I]VERY RARE[/I][/B] cases where they have given stuff to people, but that was to people who work closely with them, which you don't. Also the stuff that gets released by them are very small things. They will [B]NEVER[/B] release an entire version of an unfinished game.

Also the invasion stage of tf2 was not fleshed out enough to have a good playable state, it was most likely all test stuff. There is nothing there for you.

I remember when I first got the HL2 beta and assumed it would be like a fully complete game.
