Customization:
if you open the file g15.res file you can customize what your G15 shows you when in game.
the editing of the script is easy and even you can do it.
I won’t go into all the details of how to put information, largely because most of it is useless, but here is a handy list of ones I find useful:
(ammo_primary)
Current weapon’s primary ammo, AKA the current “in the clip” ammo, or for single reload/non-reloading weapons all of it.
(ammo_secondary)
Reserve ammo for the current weapon. Will be 0 for a number of weapons.
(weapon_print_name)
Current weapon’s name
%(localplayer)m_iHealth%
Current health
%(localteam)m_szTeamName%
Current team name (valve prefixed this with team_ for replacement above, or with icon_ for the non-existent icons)
%(localplayer)m_iAmmo[1]%
Primary weapon ammo
%(localplayer)m_iAmmo[2]%
Secondary weapon ammo
%(localplayer)m_iAmmo[3]%
Metal (100 for everyone but Engineer, who can actually USE metal)
I hope you like it as much as i do...
I love you forever.
Only if it were in true-color for the G19's screen...
wish I had a G15 :sigh:
I already have one that has like class portraits and animations, etc. But this one looks cleaner. I'll try it out later.
Ah great. I knew my G15 would come handy someday.
i'm thinking of also making a gmod app, l4d(2) app and a alien swarm app. what do you guys think?
G11 :saddowns:

do it
what does this do exactly
what the fuck is a g15
what the fuck is a g15
It's a shiny keyboard.
If someone makes one for the G19 with colours, I'll love you forever.
I'll use this for now though :V
For those who doesnt know what the G-Series is: Link
why you would be looking at your keyboard to see how much ammo you have is beyond me, no real reason to have the ammo counter tbh

The G11 is about as useful as a damaged G15
I thought you meant a phone called G15
G110 user here. Good app, but I don't see a use for a tiny screen on your keyboard.
Maybe it's just me, but isn't this what a monitor is for?
G110 user here. Good app, but I don't see a use for a tiny screen on your keyboard.
Maybe ping and fps and performance information?
Though you could just do a bindtoggle net_graph for that, and cl_showfps
I usually just use the G19 for Ventrilo and such, but its always fun to have more apps for it

this one's cool too
G15 is useless, i played once on that keyboard. I played doom (skulltag with G15 support activated) and guess what, i had to look below to see how much health do i have and how much ammo left. It was actually pretty cool, not just plain text but doom fonts and everything, but having to look down every time is frustrating.
Maybe it's just me, but isn't this what a monitor is for?
you can display info on it like ping etc...
still working on a app that makes a graph of your ping.
only problem i still have is that it stores ALL the values even if they are used and do not display anymore on your graph so after 30 min the log file becomes realy big.
It would be more useful if it displayed your ping, fps, time left in the round, and the map time left.
Isn't it easier to just look in the bottom left corner? i think its really incoveniant to look at your keyboard to see your characters current stats.
It would be more useful if it displayed your ping, fps, time left in the round, and the map time left.
i'm working on that but only with a build in graph function.
I thought you meant a phone called G15
Now I wish I got my G15 back, it was broken so I had to send it back. :frown:
i'm working on that but only with a build in graph function.
Looking forward to it.
Why cant you just look at your monitor?
It's a great idea, but having to look at your keyboard constantly rather then your monitor would become a real pain.
