If you backstab him, you have a much less likely chance of being noticed, if you are you jump down and cloak/disguise.
If you shoot him, it takes three times as long and most likely will get killed before he does.
I have never seen a spy shoot a non-razorback sniper from backstab distance.
except, you know, when they've got those pesky razorbacks on. then just stuff them up with your classic revolver. none of this ambassador business.

Clearly this video is about snipers without razorbacks why would you bring this up?
I shoot snipers w/o razor back with my ambassador from far away if they're teammates near him or sentries near by.
I hate me some snipers
The music at the end sounds very familiar. What's it from?

Mario Paint.

Strange, I've never played Mario Paint.
I guess I heard it from some other videos then. Thanks, by the way.
I love how people in the comments are defending this extremely idiotic tactic. Seriously, if he's not using a razorback, use your knife. That's literally what it was designed to do.
Although I mirror the confusion of one comment, is this really a problem? I assume you've seen it a fair number of times, because making a video about something that happened once in an effort to keep people from doing it, is a pretty big waste of time.

It sounds like it could be a spin off of some music from Animal Crossing. I could be wrong though.
Which is why the video is stupid.
Also handy if you want to stay around a corner, away from a turret or something.
Because it's humiliating to get shot by someone when they're right behind you.
I've never seen this happen. Ever.
Because they're not worthy of a backstab.
Also Ambassador headshot + bodyshot combo can snipe them at mid-range without getting close to other potential threats.
If you don't recognize the mario paint music and were raised in the 90's you should shoot yourself
But I've seen this happen once or twice, it's absolutely retarded. I guess some spies are just blind

I'm at a disadvantage, because I don't have a gun.

I had a genesis.

Because it(was apparently not) entertaining?
Also, because some people have not seen this happen, that instantly means that it doesn't happen am I right.
I thought this video would be a fun little video about something I saw once but I suppose the title was bad phrasing.
This was one of the worst TF2 movies I've ever seen, congrats
/every scout is delicious video ever made
Because they are probably like my brother who doesn't play TF2 on a regular basis and though the revolver could one shot kill from behind, perhaps?
I personally love to shoot them once in the head, then kill them with a normal knife hit in the front.
That was a terrible recreation of this situation
I've never seen this happen. Unless they aren't in melee range, snipers without razorback always get backstabbed.
As a spy, sometimes I shoot a Sniper three times as I'm approaching him, to save time I would waste running up to him.
Not to mention, I don't need to be behind him to kill him with the revolver, I can below him and still kill him.
Sniper without a Razorback? Backstab.
Sniper with a Razorback? Shoot him in the head with the Ambassador, then a single poke in the face with my knife as he turns around. Takes 1.2 seconds longer then a backstab.
Did they ever increase the volume of the razorback breaking? I used to just backstab them anyway because so few actually noticed the first stab.
If you see a sniper with the razorback you might as well dance around in front of their rifle as they're clearly retarded.
Whoa a whole thread and no one used the most obvious excuse? It's for the achievement. Spies that actually can't aim sneak up from behind hoping to get a nice headshot.
That's not a good excuse.

You really have no idea how bloody annoying the razor back is when the person using it is not rubbish.
