The recent updates made me very happy because of the bot additions and improvements. I could make a proofofconcept map sometime in june since I'm currently working on a tf2 map for a contest with a deadline nearbye. I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to do. there's a bunch of freedom with the entities so I could control the spawntimes and which spawnpoints are active. The bots behavior (atleast scout bots) are aggressive whenever they don't own the control point. When they do, they chill in the surrounding area until someone comes nearbye. Player is on blu, bots are on red. I would parent a control point to the player that only the bots can capture, that way they're always aggressive and the player will block the capture. The end of the map could involve capturing a point, but even if the bots can't capture it, I still don't know if they will chill and defend it. So I guess it would be kind of like a bootleg attack/defend

is it possible to make bots melee only and players not? I want to make a scout swarm vs 3 heavies. :P
This is an awesome idea and I am behind it wholeheartedly. Actually this kind of reminds me of that tower defense mod someone brought up awhile back...

Sir, you are a winner Imagine it. It would work well in CTF You go from your spawn to the flag. When you get the flag, you have another route to follow (like a l4d campaign), which will lead you to capture the flag. Set flag limit to 1 = Done! :buddy: Or, if you had to defend CPs from the swarm, you could make CP that when capped unlock the way and will lead to the final one. So many things to do now!

This gave me a great idea for a zombie-game mod. Combine Metal Gear Solid with Left 4 Dead: TACTICAL ESPIONAGE ZOMBIE CO-OP ACTION Basically you have like, 5 bullets between your entire team and 1 band-aid that makes up the entirely of your medical supplies. If you get seen by a zombie, you gotta cap them before they get the rest of the horde to wail on you. They don't magically know where you are unless a boomer-clone pukes on you or you trigger an alarm; they look for you in your last known location. Sacrifices may have to be made for the good of the group. "Hey scout run down that street screaming into this bullhorn, we'll meet you there" Speaking of zombies, does this mean zombie fortress will work with bots now? :D

Too bad attachments broke. How cool would it be if zombies had just green skin at first, but as you damage them, they become that zombie skin that was made with gibs + skeleton skins, and burning them revealed their skeleton?

Good question, maybe we could get someone skilled with SourceMod to see if it's possible...
