A competitive matchmaking beta testing group is available. To be prioritized for getting a beta pass, you must be in the group, have a premium account, and have the Steam Mobile Authenticator available.
There appears to be unscheduled competitive matchmaking stress tests that could happen at any time.
Scream Fortress Seven was released, featuring new community Halloween maps, and the official release of the Mannpower gamemode, along with a new map. As part of the performance fixes for the update, [URL="https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1488921&p=49006098&viewfull=1#post49006098"]some textures for new taunts and new Engineer buildings were found,[/URL] some of which were included in the Tough Break update.

Either way, I'm excited. I had alot of fun with my experiences in matchmaking
Usually it's good form to post the thread [B]after the current one has locked[/B], as otherwise it could be seen as ninjaing.

Technically it was.:v: but here's my speculation, ever since the classic mercy were introduced in the comics, and the classic was added I always assumed there might be a "nostalgia update" adding at least one classic weapon to tf2, there's already quite a few on the workshop, and the fact that valve went out of there way to actually make a new model when they made the classic makes me think that during LaW they were maybe planning more classic weapons but they were never added or maybe they were never even modeled. wow i typed all this on my phone, I'm proud of myself :class:

We're working on a mandatory update for TF2. The notes for the update are below. We should have it ready soon.

- The untradability will be applied onto the Stat Clock and onto any weapon the Stat Clock is applied to
- Fixed not being able to use custom hitsounds and killsounds on servers using sv_pure 2
- Updated cp_foundry to support the Competitive mode beta
- Updated the draw sound for the Dead Ringer
- Updated equip_region settings for the Exorcizor and the Cotton Head
- Updated models/materials for the Beep Boy, Sidekick's Side Slick, The Rotation Sensation, The Chill Chullo, and The Breakneck Baggies

Most likely, as it currently doesn't have a draw sound meaning people that play without viewmodels have no way of knowing whether they have the DR active bar getting shot.

It makes sense on heavy, and sorta makes sense on pyro because, but the engie is especially wearing pants over his overalls, and spy just throws team coloring out the window.

It looks fine on all the classes that have dark trousers.
It could even look good on the others if the colour of the item was made to match the colours of the classes.
In its current state its just lazy and ugly though
