I really hate respawn time as the title says,
12 seconds to 20 seconds is really long, I'd like 3 seconds as max. For a game that is fun and is a relax game, there is no need for respawn time unless it's a pug.
So do you hate it too?
It irritates me a ton, but it keeps the game balanced.
Yeah, Respawn times make me rage so hard, but you realise how much of a spamfest it can become without them and they keep the game balanced.

Instant respawn and fast respawn sucks a bundle.
You cant see your drop's because you never see (or see for a millisecond) the "Respawn in:" screen.

I hate Insant Respawn and Fast Respawn servers, they unbalance the game like crazy, you'd be suprised how taking those seconds off respawn time can affect the outcome of the game greatly.
I love respawn times.
It feels like there is no reason to even kill the enemy without them.

I don't get your point . Bugfix mentioned the same thing.
I used to hate long respawn times when I had just started playing and everyone was better than me and I kept dying all the time.
Sometimes it makes me rage like as a turtle engie if you die before a rush and you could have stoped it
I hate instant or fast respawn servers because it doesn't give me time to drink or eat a few chips in between deaths.
And it keeps the game more balanced.
5-10 seconds is what I prefer, 20 second waits are just irritating.
Although a person that likes to wait does not exist, the same goes for the person that's enjoys of games ending in stalemate.
Yuh exactly wait times are irritating, no one likes to wait, espicially when playing something as awesome as TF2.
But they're there for a reason.
Respawn time adds to the satisfaction when you beat another player, if another player or I am able to jump right back in it just feels cheap. It also causes stupid behaviour because people just don't care.
It's also horrible if you're fighting near the spawn rooms, for example fighting a defending team while on the last cap.
I love respawn time.

Yeah, but to be honest without the longer respawn times it's easier to defend. They've got it set up where the winning team gets faster respawns to avoid stalemates.
I hate those fast respawn/instant respawn servers they're not any better than the servers that grant you a huge advantage if you pay for premium saigns.de as an example, god I don't get how all of their servers are populated.
What's with all the negativity?
When the ~7-20 seconds are counting down, I reflect on why I got caught or what I could have done better, I fetch a small thing to eat or drink or click through spec mode to see where I will be needed next or how we are doing. If FreezeTag showed me anything, it's how quickly the enemy team can advance once you died and couldn't defend your position longer.
Come on, it's just 15 seconds. I can understand the urge to have some more fun, but you need to learn to take breaks, too.
