I'm confused with this achievement............A little help?
You need to find a really long stretch of land and stickyjump with two stickies. The Highland Fling is almost always fatal, so you'll know if you did it right. The bridge on CTF_Doublecross is perfect for this.

I pulled it off on 2fort by accident. Launched from the left BLU battlement to the left (from their perspective) RED battlement. I believe the stickies were near the back wall when I jumped.
I died on impact, of course, hilariously flopping down on top of a sentry nest that might've killed me anyhow. But I got my achievement.

You can sticky jump with three stickies, even. Put the third S-bomb about 2 or 5 feet away from the other two, and crouch jump a little bit farther away. BOOM! You're nearly assured to fly across the map.
The main difficulty with the achievement is finding a stretch of land that's long enough and where you won't hit invisible walls. It's basically the only reason to ever play orange_x.
In doublecross, there is some sewers by the train tracks, put the stickies outside there, and launch yourself, if done correctly, you will land on the opposite teams roof, dead, but with an achivement
Why does everyone say they have died when doing this achievement? Well, I didn't need to.
I did it by accident, heh.
Best place I found for this is as red team in badwater. Before the round starts and you exit the gate and turn left down the alleyway, you set up 2 stickies in that alleyway. Set them off and fly towards the blu gates. If you land on high enough ground, like on the far right where engies like to put their sentry guns, you will even survive.
get a medic to overheal, do a 3 sticky jump. easy.
OR
join a surf server and jump to a surf ramp, and surf for a bit. counts as flying.
A low gravity server also helps.
Badwater, right outside of Blu's right-most gate. Lay 2 stickies. Crouch jump. You should go right over the rocks on the right and land with a few HP left.
Do it from top of last point on plr_pipeline.
Guaranteed to kill you though.
You can do it at pl maps fairly easy as they tend to have long areas.

Then I landed on someone's head and fucked him up with my eyelandah
You can airstrafe to curve.
I got it on gorge, jumping out of blu spawn strafing through the general area and back to blu spawn.
I died, of course, but it was a great success!

But I fail at surfing.
I only used a single sticky and jumped along the bridge on Double Cross with plenty of health.
Alternatively you could edit the items_game.ctx to let the Gunboats work on Demo too, then you can use lots of stickies.
Here's what I did.
1. Load big map. (i.e. ballon_race)
2. Stickyjump.
3. That's it. FUCKING WOW.
This thread makes me want to go in-game, get a Kritz to let me lay down eight critical stickies, and get a regular Uber so I can survive the explosion.

How can I get The Targe Charge? :saddowns:
If you practice well enough you can get the length of a 2 bomb sticky jump with just one. I remember doing it with just one.

At the end of a charge when you empty the bar and hit someone you deal 20 damage I reccomend going after other demomen 2 grenades and the charge should do it
It's 25 damage if you hit someone with the Targe.
