For some reason, I decided to organise an event. The winner of this event will receive a mystery prize. The prize can be literally anything, which may include, but is not limited to, items in team fortress 2. All I can really say about the prize is that it's worth the trouble of getting that bat.
The event is based around a bat that I have signed. The bat is currently owned by:

Whoever has that bat on the 10th of may will receive the reward.
I have also created a [url=steamcommunity.com/groups/bathunt]steam group[/url] for this event, feel free to join it. The current bat holder should be in the group, so it's easy to contact him/her.

That's up to them, to take their chances. In the end, if you hold on to it, you may end blaming yourself for refusing actual decent offers, only to end up with a crappy reward. Though the reward might be something valuable. Who knows?

While its a nice idea, The fact that there is only 1 item makes it less fun because the person could just hoard it. If there was 3-4 bats going around, We might actually see some people actually trading and trying...

Also nice research bro; that's not my only steam account. There's also the fact that I made over €400 in the past 2 weeks, have only spent, what, €100 of it, and am not really even looking to save up for anything at the moment and I don't really see the need to buy anything either... What do soldier medals sell for nowadays? In terms of money, I mean. In case it's less than €300, you might just want to trade the medal for that bat and hold on to the bat, but that's your call.
I mean, if I stood a chance to win €300 (that's about $380 usd... correct me if I'm wrong tho) at the cost of an item that I got for free in the first place, I'd drop everything the fuck down and take it.
