So that's what I've been doing wrong, wasting time trying to set up a queue of moves and actually paying attention.
Spamming auto-battle didn't work for me once I got past the intro, but this made me chuckle all the same.
This is seriously how I played through XIII-2. Had the heal a few times in the last boss. That's it.
Just use the Tank, Heal and Mage class (i dont even bother to look up how they are named) and get a nice TV show to entertain you since this game wont. I'm actually a fan of the Final Fantasy series but this crap is the shizz. Can't wait for the FFX HD Remake..

Did you play the previous Final Fantasy games? I find XIII way too repititive, the story isnt my thing (but this is personal i guess) and the characters/voice acting is terrible. The only thing that is kind of fun is the combat system. If you dont faceroll it ofcourse.

I loved 4, 9 & 10 and I'm enjoying 13. I'm enjoying the story and most of the voice acting (Vanille can fuck off, but Lightning and Sazh are great), and the battle system is entertaining if you break free of auto-battle.
