Overlord II demo is now avaiable on xbox live :dance:. Don't know when the ps3 demo is coming though.

Haven't heard about it in a while.
Tell me when they release a PC demo. Not once have I not run into problems trying to download demos onff live. It'll download the demo, and then randomly decide it should stop and the Demo will be incomplete, rendering it unplayable and a waste of my time.

Played the demo, liked the game a lot.
Somebody tell me if this is a buy or no, since I really liked the first one (demo and alot of playing at a friend). Should I buy the first one and not afford the second or buy the second and not afford the first.
I tried the first game and it was quite fun

When i played the first game (STILL HAVE IT) it was just BOOOORING.. O.O
THis one seems a bit better though.
The first one was fun, but very repetitive and it got boring fast...Hope this one is better. I loved the humour in the first one. Haven't got the chance yet to play the second, can't handle it on this shitty laptop.
I loved the demo. Thinking about renting this or getting it not for sure yet. Looks like it going be a good game from the demo.

First one had a huge mindfuck at the end.
[sp]You learn that there were actually 8 heroes and you were the eighth, you got injured and the Overlord prepped the minions to take care of you, and when you wake up, you have no memories at all and everybody pretends you are the new Overlord, which in fact the original Overlord took over the body and mind of one of the Heroes, a wizard, and slowly turned the heroes evil, in which you kill throughout the game. When all 7 heroes are defeated, the original Overlord retakes his throne, and you have to kill him, yada yada yada insert huge fight here, and the ending is determined by who you take as a mistress, Rose (Good) or Velvet (Evil) and both are the original Overlords daughters.[/sp]

PETA already saw the seal clubbing and said it was OK because you're a blatantly evil person and expected to do evil things and seal clubbing is evil. Surprised me very much.
I don't remember what it was called, but an old game on the PC I used to play was like overlord, but top-down view and humnas with minions, you coul mine, you could capturee opposing team members and torture them to convert to your side, etc.
It was mostly played in caves, I think. It was fun :P
PETA elves made me lol hard.
Going to give demo a try, wasn't to keen on the first though.
