wazza facepunch i play Farcry Instincts predator alot on the 360, i always play the map editor like FC2 i do the MP editor and stuff what are your best map editors? 1. FC:IP (xbox 360) 2. Sandbox2 (crysis warhead PC) 3. Farcry 2 (xbox 360)
HL2 - Hammer. (PC) Also, UT3's pretty cool too.
Are we talking about what it can do, or how easy it is?
BF2 sandbox's was fun but it's not really an editor
Are we talking about what it can do, or how easy it is?
Exactly, if it is the former, then I don't see how any console editors can be on the OP's list.
Easiest one I have ever seen is the TimeSplitters 3 editor. So many awesome SP levels I made in minutes. I have to say that the available Wolfenstein 3D editors (FloEdit, Mapedit) are all really easy too.
Far Cry 2 Editor Hammer
Tribes 2 had an awesome level editor, it was kind of dumbed down (you couldn't create new types of building, but you could place/scale/rotate them) but the entire thing was ingame, simply press a button when you're the host and bam, you can edit the terrain, objectives, buildings, items, etc. Hammer would be awesome if it didn't take half of eternity to compile a complex map.
Faces of war and men of war have easy and great editors, the GEM editor.
EDIT its about how much you like it easy.. stuff.. the one you liked the most
UE3/4 editors
There was this awesome map in portal which was basically a map editor. It was posted on here like a year ago, and it's still fun to fuck around with.
Far Cry Instincts Predetor I am the creator of thr famous Lake Poopershits
I loved the Duke Nukem 3D editor. I remember I was so good at building levels. I would make these doors that opened from the center. I would also make so many secret areas. As ridiculous as standing on a water fountain and pressing space bar on it. It would turn into an elevator that brought you down into a missile silo where you could press some buttons and launch a missile.
Hammer, C&C editors, Satcraft Map Editor.
The editor in WC3 was awesome.
I thought Crysis editor was the best for me, because it allowed to make cool looking things like explosions and hurricanes easily, but if you wanted to make your own objects and levels, it took a little bit more effort. I still use the editor quite often, even though I haven't played the normal crysis since I finished Warhead.
WC3 SC any UT with one Hammer Crysis Pretty much any game that has one i like, unless it the stupid bullshit kind in Halo 3 those kind suck nuts

Hammer, end of discussion, I have loved this editor since first putting my mouse on it's grids.
HL2 - Hammer. (PC)
WC3 and Hammer
I love and hate the UT3 editor. But I mostly just hate Hammer.
Battlecraft 1942 You could make awesome maps with dat shit. It's like the FC2 editor but in waaaaay bigger and with looots of vehicles and armies and textures and models.
Hammer for limitless possibilities Any made by Crytek because of ease.
SC's Editor Hammer they both r supermazing
I still have a lot to learn with Hammer, but it is a very, very feature-rich editor. I do agree with some other people here that the WC3 editor was great, it was probably the perfect balance between user-friendliness and functionality.
I love and hate the UT3 editor. But I mostly just hate Hammer.
I liked it because it worked somewhat like hammer, except it had fast compiling.
Can I use the sandbo two editor with a digital purchase of crysis warhead?
