This is a game that uses the source engine... so technically its a sourcemod, how come it doesnt have to install into steam just like any other mod would? This has been making me rage all day. Someone help please.

Just because it's on Source and isn't Valve made doesn't mean it's a mod.
You can buy a license to use the engine.
