WC3 MapHack - Will using it on Customgames get my CD key banned?

The site says that using it on Ladder games gets you banned, but I don't want to take my chances with Custom Games unless I know for sure.

For anybody who is going to say "Play the game normally", I just want to fuck around for a few laughs, I'm not using it to win

They say not on Ladder games because they monitor those heavily. Custom games aren't as cared for as ranked. Hacking isn't a good thing to do either way. Warden is a powerful tool Blizzard uses and if can't detect you right away, it will.

They will ban you. They monitor both custom and ladder games.

Yup. As of the most recent MotD, a lot of people have stopped using VCK and other programs because they're afraid of being banned. As far as I'm aware, they're actually banning people in customs now. I suggest that if you really want to use a maphack, find a good undetectable one.

Yeah warden now monitors custom games it even boots people off B.Net who use LC, I haven't heard of anyone banned for LC though. You will be banned if you use a maphack like, say, shadowfrench. A more undetectable and recent one may work though, take your chances if you want but I reccomend no. Maphacking in dota is fun though ;)

Shit. I use Custom Kick, why would they ban that? All it does is help hosts keep assholes out.
