So I've been thinking about trying WoW but I have a few questions
Is the trial worth doing?
Do trial people get to have at least a mount before having to purchase the game?
If I buy Lich King and burning crusade and cataclysm, will I have to pay double subscription depending on how many packs I get?
What lvl can I get via. trial without having to buy it?
Is there any limit to trial people as long as I stop playing after the 10 day thing?
What races / classes are available to trial people?
What is the best nooby class?
Sorry for so many questions but thanks
1. If you'd like to get a good feel of how the game is, yes.
2. No, mounts are at level 20.
3. You only have to pay for the expansions once, the subscription stays the same.
4. I think its only 15 but I could be wrong.
5. All the original races (Not Blood Elf and Draenei)
6. Hunter?
I believe the trial is capped at 20. You can't get a mount with a trial account due to the level restrictions. All races and classes are available with the exception of Death Knight because that requires a character of at least 55. Class choice comes entirely down to your preference on play style.
You pay the same subscription regardless of expansions. If you buy an expansion the only thing you pay for is the one off price of the expansion.
Last question.
Can I choose how often I pay my subscription?
Like Monthly or Annually?

You have the option to pay for 1, 3 and 6 months by card and you can buy 60-day game cards in retail shops.

Think theres 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, and 12 month subscriptions

How much is the 1 month plan?
I wanna know because I can probably figure out how much the 60 day one costs using that info.
£8.99.
Not sure about dollars or euros.

around $15 a month
That's not bad.
I can buy a 30 dollar card and have 60 days of enjoyment. Average, how often can I level up per day?
That's not bad.

It really depends on how you play. I find that I level faster by doing instances (Dungeons) repeatedly and questing in between queue times.
Jesus fuck 12.41 gig.

Depends on the class really. The latest patch seems to have sped levelling up a fair bit, especially at low levels for most classes.

you can use the streaming client which i advise unless you plan on doing heavy PVP
So I've been thinking about trying WoW but I have a few questions
Is the trial worth doing?
Yes. You'll get a feel for the game and find out if you'll really like it or not.
Do trial people get to have at least a mount before having to purchase the game?
Yes. You get a mount at 20.
If I buy Lich King and burning crusade and cataclysm, will I have to pay double subscription depending on how many packs I get?
No. Subscription is always ~$15/month.
What lvl can I get via. trial without having to buy it?
20.
Is there any limit to trial people as long as I stop playing after the 10 day thing?
Not sure exactly what you mean here. Trial accounts are limited in certain ways; you aren't as free to communicate (to prevent gold spammers from making trial accounts), you aren't able to trade to people, and there are a few other restrictions.
What races / classes are available to trial people?
The 8 original races and 9 original classes.
(Tauren, Orc, Troll, Undead ; Human, Gnome, Dwarf, Night Elf)
(Warrior, Druid, Priest, Hunter, Warlock, Mage, Rogue, Paladin, Shaman)
What is the best nooby class?
I'd say hunter. It's very hard to mess up, and your pet can help you out a lot.
Sorry for so many questions but thanks
Don't worry about it. There is nothing wrong with being inquisitive.
All of you rating him dumb need to fuck off, there's nothing wrong with asking questions. How else is he supposed to learn?
I gave him a friendly to counter the dumbs.

Of course it depends on how much you play but if you stay on track and don't get distracted then you can reach level 80 in 4-8 days of played time. My record is something like four and a half days but that's with a lot of experience.
How do I run a streaming client?
This seems interesting?
You download it from the same place you get the normal client, I think. The streaming client only needs to download the core files and the rest is downloaded while you play.
Link? I looked at the same place where I found the normal, and it only showed trial, full, and that was it.
The trial version IS the streaming version, according to Google.
So I've been thinking about trying WoW but I have a few questions
Is the trial worth doing?
Definitely, it's what got me hooked on WoW. The first time you play WoW is amazing, so savor it.
Do trial people get to have at least a mount before having to purchase the game?
I don't believe so. The level is capped at 20, which is the level you get a mount, but I think you have to have an active account to buy one.
If I buy Lich King and burning crusade and cataclysm, will I have to pay double subscription depending on how many packs I get?
No, subscription is always the same.
What lvl can I get via. trial without having to buy it?
I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. You can get a maximum of 20 levels before having to buy the full game.
Is there any limit to trial people as long as I stop playing after the 10 day thing?
Not sure what you mean, you can go back and reactivate your trial account later after you buy the game.
What races / classes are available to trial people?
All races/classes except the Burning Crusade races (Stinky Blood Elves and Smelly Draenei) and DKs
What is the best nooby class?
Try a hunter, it's a good nooby class that's easy to level.

but it shows as 12.41 GB download to me
[editline]2nd November 2010[/editline]

It will download as you play, and stream missing textures for the time being, so you can play with about 500MB of core files, the rest is streamed as you go.
Really, because when I tried it made me sit through the download.
And it said 10 gig remaining of 12.41.
Just to let you know you have to have a credit card to buy online.
You can buy a game card but that's like 40 dollars for 30 days.
Depends where you buy from. I can easily find a store here that sells a 30 day card for $8!

It took me two months of playing to reach level 80. :saddowns:
Well I've been playing since Classic, so yeah.
