I didn't see a thread on it and that surprised me for a recently released game. 1. What is SC5? A fighting game like Street Fighter and Mortal Combat, also doubles as a boob physics simulator. It is available for the 360 and PS3. 2. Why should I get this game over other fighters, why should I get it at all? As hard is may be to tell from someone who doesn't have much experience in the genre; SC5 is much different from the other fighters. I would list the differences but there are so many I don't really know where to begin. For one it's on a 3d playing field, where most fighters use a 2d field. Meaning you can move more ways then just forward and back. I say if you are interested in finding a fighting game I would take some good looks at game play videos from all of them and compare. 3. Can you show me some videos then? And it's pretty damn good. Here is a good presentation of it from non other then the King of Sweden! So there you have it. Don't forget, post your gamertag so people can add you and you two can have some duels. I will add them to the OP as well: ****************************** 360: Professer Trall: ChaoticKillum BloodFox1222: King of Elf Smas: Smash911 PS3: igotwowhacke: baneseven ****************************** Oh and the official website but why would you need a link for that? It is a shame, but I don't actually care all that much since I got the game for the multiplayer, not the singleplayer modes.
Me and my friend play SC4 during breaks at college, it's fucking fantastic. We're both looking forward to switching to SC5.
I remember all those times me and my friends played SC4 over at my house just gathered around the TV. I was the only one who actually owned the game so I was little bit better then the rest of them and so they always had it as all vs me. I wont have such fun like that though anymore since they are buying SC5. :(
Character creation looks amazing though, but some reviews said it was pretty hard.
Man, i haven't played this series since the good old day's of SC2, i must get this new game straight away.
Changes from SCIV to SCV: Size D boobs are now size F Ivy has been replaced by Boobs Better detail in certain parts of the characters bodies. ... Ontopic: why does Lizardman have wings?
Phyrra is incredibly annoying, a bit less so when you turn Japanese voices on but still. Holy cow.
I would buy this, yet i'm just uncertan it would be worth my £40. Makes me scratch my head how some characters have suddenly disappeared though, Such as Talim.
Phyrra is incredibly annoying, a bit less so when you turn Japanese voices on but still. Holy cow.
I thought Patroklos was more annoying since he's just a dick to everyone who tries to help him for the majority of the story.
I tried playing Soul Calibur 4 multiplayer once. It was a learning experience.
Just watching the Nightmare gameplay because of the title and holy shit, why is he so fast?
I'm considering buying this... How is it different than, say, MvC or Street Fighter? Like if I play online will I just be raped with obnoxious infinite combos, or what? I want to buy it, but I've never really played any SC games.

Like Siegfried is capable of keeping you on the ground for a good while and at the same time taking massive chunks of health. This can be completely avoided if you exploit his slow swing attacks (by jabbing him first), the only ones that can actually get you on the ground ready for the combo.
Character creation looks amazing though, but some reviews said it was pretty hard.
Its not that hard, The only problem with it is that the fantasy setting limits clothing options by quite a bit. So don't expect to make characters from other games.

Also this game is fucking hard when you are used to 2D fighters. I get my ass handed to online constantly.
I remember when the soul calliber games had good single player modes, what happened.
Looks great. It's a shame that fighting gaming is dead on PC.
I rented this, it's disappointing because the 4th one was much more enjoyable.
I rented this, it's disappointing because the 4th one was much more enjoyable.
I feel the fourth one's single player was a lot more extensive, but I've still enjoyed playing this one and learning different characters. This game definitely seems more multiplayer-centric, playing it with a group of friends is probably going to become more the norm much faster than it has with the last couple of games.
I wish devil jin wasn't playable outside of lobby matches online.
So it's true that SC V's story is even less than IV's? I mean, it's a fighting game series, so story isn't the end-all, be-all, but IV thinned it pretty big compared to II and III.
There's a shitty story mode with new characters as the main characters, and arcade mode which is 7 fights with no story.
How much bigger are Ivy's Breasts? And I capitalize the B in breasts, because they're practically a character of their own.
I think I'll pick this up after work. I'm used to dark souls, so I know dodging, timing, etc. The 360 scene isn't dead, right? I don't want to buy it if no one will ever be online
Nightmare is OP. Character Creation is much better in this one, I think. Being able to adjust every little thing is neat.
I'm still angry that they removed Talim.

And even then a couple of those bios basically say "Just because."
I've been watching gameplay videos and in gravitating towards Pyrrha. Is pyrrha omega playable? Which one is better?
