i have a dedicated server and i was wondering why no one can join unless i send them the ip.
what do i need to do in order to create a server (and host) a server that is open to the public that anyone can join without getting the words "server not responding"
please help?
ps. i dont want to buy a server from xenon or clanebaselive (etc) i want to have a server hosted from my office that works like xenon servers, where anyone can join.
Make sure your ports are forwarded! I can't tell you which ports specifically (since you didn't name what game your hosting), but it's a common problem, although it may also be a firewall issue.
