I don't know about the rest of you but I'm getting flat out sick of Mw2. There are so many things that are wrong about that game it's pathetic. This is the only game I'm really looking forward to at the moment and was wondering if anyone else has heard of it yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23Ga8ohf5To
I was talking with a friend about this earlier. Tom Clancy games have gone from realistic present to increasingly ridiculous near-future.
I really hope it's not to futuristic. If they go all out with the whole futuristic scenario they will undoubtedly ruin their game as of being an fps. I for one am not a fan of futuristic fps games but if it's just slightly futuristic no flying or sonar vision(or lasers) then I'm ok.

Sounds pretty futuristic to me.
Yeah but hopefully they wont implement all that. Into multiplayer that is.
This is what to the original Ghost Recon as Dragon Rising is to Bohemia's original Operation Flashpoint.
This is what to the original Ghost Recon as Dragon Rising is to Bohemia's original Operation Flashpoint.
What?
What?
He meant that Future Soldier is like what Dragon Rising did to Operation Flashpoint. It is Ghost Recon's Dragon Rising.
They even use Ultranationalists, for God's sake they use fucking Ultranationalists. I thought Tom Clancy, or at least the writers he hires, would be a little bit better than that.
He meant that Future Soldier is like what Dragon Rising did to Operation Flashpoint. It is Ghost Recon's Dragon Rising.
Is that a bad or good thing?
Is that a bad or good thing?
Bad, very very bad. Although i am looking forward to this, that live action trailer was badass.
He meant that Future Soldier is like what Dragon Rising did to Operation Flashpoint. It is Ghost Recon's Dragon Rising.
Holy shit he has no head now!
Holy shit he has no head now!
LOL! I was looking at the same thing
Looks like they stole predator technology

It's more like Ubisoft abusing the "Tom Clancy" titles.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter: Future Soldier (3)
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter: Future Soldier (3)
Who said anything about advanced warfighter. That series ended.
Ground Branch will blow this out of the water [editline]02:48PM[/editline]
They've got automated machine-gun drones, lock-on sniper rifles, invisibility cloaks, crazy-ass armor, and shoulder-mounted missile launchers capable of destroying tanks.
Who said anything about advanced warfighter. That series ended.
It looks like the same game to me. I want something 'new' not the recycled "Future WARRRRR" thing.
Well all we can do now is wait. Let's hope this replaces all the bad games out at the moment. Cough* modern warfare 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98IllinIqe8
It looks like the same game to me. I want something 'new' not the recycled "Future WARRRRR" thing.
Yes but Advanced War fighter was not that far into the future seeing as most of the tech was already created and could be used, this is like ridiculously futuristic, cloaking technology still has a lot to be tested and the drones with miniguns, i mean really? Oh and cloaking is just a synthetic fabric i don't see how they just go in and out of cloaking all willy nilly.
I see the new Halo trailer is out.... Oh wait.
Well as long as it's nothing like section 8 it's something i'm going to be looking forward to.

Sounds pretty futuristic to me.
Er... Shoulder mounted missile launchers TODAY can destroy tanks. Even the piss-weak 84mm rocket launcher (AT4) is perfectly capable of killing even the most heavily armored MBT with a direct hit. And don't even let me get started on the Javelin and Wire Guided systems.
I wonder how much it cost to make that live trailer. Edit: Directed by Ben Mor of Little Minx, a company of Ridley Scott and Associates, the trailer was created in collaboration with visual effects creators Asylum, who are known for their high-caliber work on Terminator Salvation. The live-action video game trailer marks the highly anticipated return of the elite Ghosts with a visceral and immersive experience that showcases the explosive action of future warfare. Illustrating the realism that the Ghost Recon brand is known for, the ”Future War” trailer features the Ghosts on the hunt for a wanted war criminal in Moscow. Using weapons and advanced technology based on real-world military prototypes in research and development today, and which fans will soon be able to experience directly in the game, the Ghosts strike down an entire army before vanishing from sight. Separately, Oscar winners Hervé de Crécy and François Alaux of Little Minx, a company of Ridley Scott and Associates, are working with Ubisoft on a short film based on the Ghost Recon brand arriving later this year.
