Is There Any Good Base-Building RTS's?

I've had some crazy fun building bases in Battle for Middle Earth II. You can build walls and stuff. There is quite a bit of fighting but it makes it fun when a huge swarm of orcs invade and you have to protext your castle.

DoW: DC was probably one of my favorite RTS'. DoW2 was okay, but I hope they make some new-race-including expansions, the 'nids are already getting old.
