So I own Company of Heros and Opposing Fronts, but they made a free MMO version recently and I was wondering If I should get it? Also what the hell is it, should I bother to get it or do I have everything already in the retail version? Does all it do is add upgrades for your poeple?
kinda confused.....:byodood:
Company of Heroes Online is pretty much the vanilla game only with RPG elements and stuff for its online component
It's free, install it and find out.
Stick with your retail game.
The free version is ridiculous.

I believe it is because people who have higher level stuff can just shit all over you no problem.

If you want a balanced game get retail
That reminds me... I haven't played CoH for almost 2 years. I was a Wehr/US player back then. How's the balance now?
Fire up! still faggy? Brits imbalanced? PE broken? Wehr blitz still the worst doctrine?
Nope, now everyone is unbalanced.
Certain shit will completely devastate the enemy but if they happen to use a thing on you, you can't do anything.
I;e roos, piospam
COHO, two words, Infantry Attrition. (Hero units can be very powerful too. And perhaps many other abilities.)
COH, two words, Kangeroo Spam. (Medic bunker with vetted gren spam, T17 spam and pio spam could be considered)
To be honest, I guess the lesser evil would be Company of Heroes.
That's a ball game, construction's finished!

Come on engineers, you're holding up the god damn war.
Just play the retail, less bullshit.
Just get both. That way when you want to play COHO you can use the CD keys from CoH, OF an ToV to gain items and things. Just don't use the Steam version of the CD key cause it doesn't work.
