Rejoining WoW from '07. Need some FP friends to hang out with. . .

So I played WoW for about a 6 month stretch a couple years ago, the highest level character I got was a level 20ish character, but I want to get back into the game.
I'd like to find a good guild to hang around with to keep me motivated to play, so if anyone has one or is in one, tell me what server and I'll be on. (I've deleted all my old characters since I'd rather take a fresh start).
Also, as a side note, I dunno which kind of server I really want to be on at the moment. I like the idea of high level raids, which seems like it would be easier to find in PvE servers, but at the same time, I like the danger of PvP servers. The downside, it seems, is people would be less interested in doing instances in favor of PvPing.
don't hang with me im a bad influence your parents wont like me
Noted.

Doesn't work like that, it's equal interest across the board.
It is? So I can find good raids on PvP servers? All right, then I'll definatley stick to a PvP server then.

Every server does end game raiding. I've played on pvp most of the time and have no problems finding guilds who are in the newest content. I dunno if your in the US or not but the top guild here is on a pvp server. Although I have wanted to play on a normal server lately. =/
i might get back into playing too
If you want to do PvE content, don't pick a server near the bottom of this list: http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/us

Yes. Pvp server is the best choice. In fact, the best PvE guilds resides on PvP realms.
I leveled a mage a while ago, on a PvP-server of course. I find the fact funny how you can gank players while they are leveling, without forgetting the fact that you might get ganked too. I mean.. it feels like a fucking wilderness outside of home territory. No rules to be broken.
EU > Cyclone Battlegroup
(inb4 'omfg athene' - no, its just obviously the best)

Cyclone battlegroup is the hardest to get decent ratings on and has the best players on it- and no I don't mean fucking athene I mean like sk gaming.
Oh and bg9 AKA cyclone is the same on EU and US- the hardest.

Of course, thats why its the best. I'd hate to get 2k then realise that my Battlegroup in reality is full of mongs.
I'm restarting on Mal'Ganis Horde (I have RL friends there), I would play with you there :)
Hmmm, I've been leveling a bit and I'm a level 12 Shaman now, but I was playing on The Forgotten Coast. I might move over to Mal'Ganis too for the activity. :)

Oh yeah, and about that, I didn't play all that frequently, and I made a lot of alts, so that's why my leveling speed was so bogged down. At the time I wanted to try out each class past about level 15 to see what I wanted to do.
you need to just get a high level and experience real stuff and see how you like your job and if you wanna try a different one
i suggest being a druid or paladin so that you can just spec into whatever you want to do instead of having to reroll, as those classes can tank, dps, and heal.
Stop thinking about moving servers just for more "Activity" if you're only level 12. You know nothing about the game yet, as most of the adventure comes with levels 40+.
It should take you only around 6 hours to get to level 16. I don't know what the hell you're doing at level 12 and already thinking about switching servers.

More like two, but still.
I'd only switch servers levels 60+
I must be extremely shitty at levelling then. I always get sidetracked
.
Hit me up on msn. I'll possibly get into wow again soon and want someone to hang with.
