At occacions (mostly when hordes appear) the game will crash for NO REASON, with NO MESSAGE AT ALL. The game doesn't start to lag or anything, it just goes back to desktop. Is this a common bug? Because It's frustrating to redo the "Apartments" chapter over, and over, and over again.
There's a left4dead section, and also, specs please.
Running it on my dads PC. Specs are Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2370 @1.73GHz 1.73GHz Memory (RAM): 2,00 GB System: Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit OS)
Yes, yes. That's fine. Graphics card please. Start -> Run -> dxdiag -> display
Tried turning your settings down and playing it?

what settings are you running the game on
what settings are you running the game on
I was running medium settings. I've turned it down to lowest just to check if its better. [editline]02:26PM[/editline] Seems to work lots better now...
Well.. It could be your gpu overheating or something and shutting the game off to protect your card?
Well.. It could be your gpu overheating or something and shutting the game off to protect your card?
Idunno, but I just completed the game. And I have to say I am very... very dissapointed at Valve. The game was no good at all. Took 1 hour to complete, and i seriosuly expected it to be both longer and have a way cooler ending [sp]I mean, come on? A heli flying away, and thats's it?[/sp] Start working Valve! You better make L4D2 better then this, or at least give us EP3, because we know Gabe has it in his scret locker! You know the code! F-A-T-T-Y!
Lol, a clock for you. It's designed as a multiplayer game so don't expect too much. However, that was definitely one of its largest shortcomings. This is a whole other story though, your problem is fixed so this thread is obsolete.

Dammit, why didn't I think of that? I hope the DEV theme is on their way to find the new code. But they better hurry, before Gabe turns into... oh god... BOOMER!!
Try turning of multicore processing. I had this problem for a while then I changed that and it worked, even though I have a dual core.
