The four games titled with the name advanced wars are the only versions of its parent series Nintendo wars to be released outside of japan. There are currently four titles to the Advanced wars series called in chronological order Advanced wars-2001 Advanced wars black hole rising-2003 advanced wars Dual strike-2005 And one game not related to the other three Advanced wars Days of ruin-2008 In each successive game more units, terrain types, and buildings have been added along with more game play. In the first three games there are four nations Orange star- The AW version of America in all reality Blue Moon- A Canada/Russia mix Yellow comet- Chinese/Japanese Green earth- A European esc? Not sure
One of my favorite games I've ever played. Too bad I lost it.
I am terrible at making threads of games I've owned dual strike black hole rising and days of ruin and beat them all. And something makes me wonder. Why the hell is it easier to beat Black hole rising on hard compaign instead of normal?
I have Dual Strike, fun game. Never did beat the campaign though.
The rip off for PSP is hard as fuck. Dual Strike was my favorite of all of them.
Unlike you uncool losers, I have the first one. And it got discontinued after about 5 months due to poor sales.
Don't forget to talk about Battalion Wars. That game is the shit. Also have Dual Strike. I should beat that sometime but I just made unfair levels to dominate people the whole time.
That has nothing to do with Advanced wars.

The first DS one is the one I have. Amazingly fun. I think I put in around 200hrs.
I have the very first Advanced Wars somewhere around here.
I want to play AW again. I had Dual Strike, but I think I sold it. :|
I once googled rule 34 on advance wars just for kicks, I was surprised
When I was like 12 a friend told me about this game, I simply bought it without even researching about it. It was so awesome, I played for nights and days, a really great game for an handheld. I always like Green Earth, they look like Nazis.
Green was sorta WW2 German with a mix of Euro now. They had panzerfausts :3 and the funky looking WW2 helmets without the insignia.

I've had Battalion wars one and two but I always get stuck on the first timing mission of both Battalion wars- The mission where you have to destroy 3 artillery stations in 10-3 min? Battalion wars 2- The mission where you need to destroy 3 missile silos in I think 15 min
days of ruin is a pos there's no max his giant arms are credit to team fyi
I want a new Advance Wars. Also Greyfield < all.

I just bought the first one
I've been playing all four games recently. Currently I'm on the final mission of AW1.
Amazing games, love em to bits

Battalion Wars was always too damn hard. Damn multiple timed objectives.
I have the gameboy micro, and the only game I have for it is advanced wars 2. That's probably the only reason I bought a gameboy, actually.
I own Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Awesome title. Probably one of my favorite DS games. My favorite CO is Jess!
The first one was absolutely incredible. One of my favourite games I've ever owned. End of. I quite fancy nicking my parents' DS occasionally and buying the DS version.
I still have the first Advance Wars. In near mint condition. Pic: Am I cool?
