Should I buy the Deus Ex Steam Collection? I heard this game was very good but I am not sure If I should get it.

How long is the story line and do you guys recommend the games?
First Deus Ex is fantastic, second one I enjoyed but it is hardly what the first one was. I enjoyed it on the xbox simply because of the controls, but the PC version is just as good. Just the controls are a bit dodgy for my taste.
Just get the first. Second one feels like a bad KotOR.
Yea, I think I am only going to buy the first one. Instead of buying the second Ill buy a different game.
Get the first as others have said. It's one of the best FPS/RPG blends ever. The story is probably 12 or so hours long I think, been ages since I have played it. Time to reinstall it :v:
Get Deus Ex + Knights of the Old Republic. Two of the best RPGs ever.

Took me 23.9 hours to finish Deus Ex.
Any other game recommendations? I have 15 dollars after I buy Deus Ex.
I have Deus Ex just never finished it...I MAY beat it over my thanksgiving break but I dunno. I got kinda irritated at it.
I got kinda irritated at it.
The game is challenging? I like challenging games.

It's a little irritating at first. Just because it has old mechanics but you get over them and get better.
But as I said, Deus Ex + Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Poker Night.

First level had me confused out of my fucking mind...but then it ended up I didn't see something every time and I just kept walking past a ladder or something that was hard to see.
Next levels aren't as bad but pretty confusing.
Ok, I think I decided that I am also getting KOTOR.

If by confusing you mean not a linear piece of crap then I agree
Instead of spending that $15 dollars I might save it for Christmas and see what steam has to offer. But I am still going to get Deus Ex.
In my opinion, Deus X is a "love it or hate it" kind of game. Unfortunately for me, I didn't really get into it.
I guess I will have to take the chance of me liking it or not.
You'll love it eventually. You may think now "This is over hyped and broken and blah" but one day you'll see someone talk about it, you'll reinstall it to give it a second (or third, fourth, fifth) chance and you'll get it. Eventually.
I like Deus EX for the fact it's the only game I can actually look in a deeper point of view of what it actually can be.
Be warned, Deus Ex's shooting mechanics are very out-of-the-ordinary. You'll... see when you get the game.
