The CS:S Gun Game Mode, where everybody starts off with the weakest weapon, and every kill you get, you get a better weapon. I suck at normal CS:S and I hate the no respawning thing. This game mode changed all of this for me. Now CS:S is actually fun because you get to experiment with weapons, and respawn instantly. I only played it for about an hour or so, but it was the best hour of CS:S ever. It was so much fun! I started doing pretty good and ended up winning a round, which is pretty hard. If you want to join a game of Gun Game, in the map filter in game, type "gg_" without the quotes to find Gun Game maps. For all of you haters out there, I haven't been payed to say this or even convinced to say this, but it has made my $20 of CS:S actually worth it, and now I'm actually gonna play CS:S.

It's GG but you respawn so it's intense shit in small GG maps.

Yeah that's what I do.
GGDM is best when everyone is the enemy, not just the other team.

I love all of the craziness because you don't have to worry about dying and waiting 2 mins for the next round, and the maps are small, but still have some strategy to them.

I've won 3 times out of about 8 or 9 times playing.... this has brought me back to CS:S!
Anyone has a good server all the ones I used to play on are dead now :(

Nah, some servers start with weak weapons, while others start with strong weapons.
Why would you START with a weak weapon? Weak weapons at the end makes it really intense, especially when you only get grenades.
Whenever I played CS:S, I would only play this. I think I used to be quite good at it.
I love the grenade thing on the last level.

This gamemode, zombie escape, and soccer are the only reasons I boot up CSS.
Some servers are different for GunGame. Some of them make you get 2 kills to move on to next weapon and some of them are called "Gungame reverse" so you start backwards.
Dammit, now I'm going to HAVE to play gungame :P

I played it a bit but it's dumb. Who decided that the people who are good at the game should be rewarded with a better gun, while people who need help with the game get stuck with a crappy glock?

I've heard that surf is pretty good. My friend has a few servers funning it, so I'll have to give it a try soon.
Gun game is pretty much all I play, but I hate DM. It really sucks when somebody spawns right behind you.
I prefer the no-respawn because it's not a spray n' pray fest as much. It's really fun if you can survive long enough to be one of the last few people in the round, then there aren't bullets going everywhere.

There is a reverse mode, where everyone starts on AWP and works their way down to pistols.
