Recently, I`ve been letting my Father use my Steam account to play games like Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies. I came home from school today and started playing TF2 as usual. He walked over and asked if He could see the point of the game. After explaining different aspects of gamemodes and maps like 2Fort and Gravelpit, He started to understand what was going on. He`s starting to play it himself now, He set himself up a new steam account and is playing an extra version of TF2 I had on it. His favorite class is the Heavy, and he was amazed when he unlocked the Sandvich. I also kind of realized that he looks like the Heavy.
I wish my dad would play TF2, all he plays anymore is WoW :v:
I wish my Dad would play video games at all. :sigh:
Sounds cool to have a gaming dad. My mum's a gamer, but all she plays is WoW.
I kinda wish I still knew my dad.
My father would go nuts at the people on the game, especially the little kids who cuss more than use actual words.
My dad is a Console Gamer at 48. It's fucking hilarious to see him swear when he dies, but he enjoys himself and that's the point. Also he's a Crack shot with a sniper rifle on Halo:Reach :v:

He`s also starting to get into Killing Floor. :buddy::respek::v: (Yeah, I was surprised too.)
My dad thinks that i'm childish and keeps telling me to stop playing stupid video games, every single day. I wish my dad was like the OP's.

My dad finished HL2 and episodes :smug: He played Tf2 (Also as Heavy :respek: but got confused by alot of it)
-snip-
Ask him to make an account on Facepunch
My dad used to play a lot of Call of Duty, which is how I got into shooters in the first place. He also plays a lot of flash games like PvZ and Peggle.
My Dad can't even use the PC. He's 63 and I don't think he's ever typed in his life
My dad loves games, he just was mocked as a kid (he's a bit overweight) and won't touch multi-player games. I really hope that one day I'll get him to play a non-singleplayer game
My dad only loves flying games. Though I love when he decides to play other games with me. Your dad is cool!
My dad doesn't play games, but my uncle does. He actually teached me to play operation flashpoint back when I was 8. He still does play games, but he only haves a 360 and a crappy house now, since he never bothered to get a job.
I`m surprised at how many people are paying attention to this thread, I though nobody would care. :unsmith:
I wish my dad interacted with me more. :smith:
My dad brought me to Valve in the first place. He plays some TF2 nad CS:S.
My dad is the type of person who get dizzy when playing a FPS. :saddowns:
My dad plays Xbox Live :buddy: He has a higher gamerscore then I do :saddowns:
My dad used to play CS 1.3 and Half Life with me and my brother sometimes, but he's more interested in guitars and stuff now, that and we don't have a third Steam account.
Me and my dad have co-opped the campaigns of nearly every 360 gave we have :v:
I bought my little brother The Orange Box. Now he and my dad are playing TF2 both swearing and freaking out like fucking kids. I kind of regret it. Seriously, I never get mad that much while playing... Then again I don't suck like them, but even then I don't fucking explode with rage like they do.
The only game my dad ever played was Super Mario Bros... The year it came out.
I love these Family gamer topics. :D Dad introduced me to proper gaming really, I used to watch him play Half Life 1. Then when Half Life 2 came out, I watched him play it aswell. He let me play it when he was done, saw how much I enjoyed it and gave me the steam account. :) Still using it today. Shame he doesn't play much anymore, but when he does its always single player games; Crysis, STALKER, Farcry etc.
I used to play Resident Evil and MGS with my brother and dad. He ran out of ammo when he was fighting Nemesis in RE3. I was playing MGS4 when my dad asked me to get the mail. When I got back he killed the boss I was fighting. I was kinda angry and happy.
My dad has only ever played Diddy Kong Racing, and my Mom's never touched a game. My Dad's a land mogul and my Mom's a vice-pres. Maybe we have the wrong priorities...
