I got bored and made some pointers with lambda on them. I can't click anything fuck.
Did you install them? [editline]09:08PM[/editline] Parky, how did you install?
They look well-made, but I don't see the use of cursors that aren't pointers. Just seems inconvenient.
haha, got it to work. Pretty cool.
They're impractical. The reason why our normal cursor is a pointer because it kind of points exactly where you're going to click and shit like that
Tip of the cursor is the trigger area. Technically still is a pointer.
The top left of the lambda is the pointed part
Oh. I might download these later, then.
I hate custom cursors.
These are awesome but one thing, can you make the crow bar animated, as in it was striking something?
Theses are bad, there is no obvious indication which part is the clicky part.
Theses are bad, there is no obvious indication which part is the clicky part.
the top left. where normal clicking would be
Go ahead and Edit the OP to show where the "clicky" part is. [editline]12:32AM[/editline] Text selector is glitchy on me.
It would be cooler to have a crowbar cursor. Whack your icons.
Keep the current design but offset them a couple pixels and add an orange triangle in the upper left. They'll be easier to use that way.

Yeahah, these are really cool!
The text select one won't work for me. It just shows as a blur.

I created new pointers that have small arrows to help with the pointing problems. DOES NOT INCLUDE TEXT EDIT CURSOR. Fixed the text cursor. He must have uploaded the wrong one. Here it is: http://www.2shared.com/file/6954760/7ba0f2f1/textcursor.html
Thanks yous
Video game-themed-Windows cursors? It's like the 90s again.
They're not very good, though. They're kind of mishapen from the actual lambdas.
Spinning lambda for loading, Crowbar for normal, animated so when you click it does a wack Link select is fine just fix the shape Text select - pipewrench Link select - knife. From opposing force obviously, but make them do a wack animation when you click. If you wanna go that extra mile, an opposing for theme making the lambda green. They look pretty good but they still are a bit sharp. I would make them smoother and use for example gradient tool to make them look shiny.
