Ming-Lee's "Counter-Strike 2", officially known as Tactical Intervention just went into closed beta today. Check out http://www.tactical-intervention.com/ and apply to hopefully play in June/July. I've applied a few days back, but heard no word from them as of yet :( This game looks like it gonna kick some major ass. Lol calling this CS2, looks pretty crappy *IMO* and a no valve release :|
Why do they call it counter-strike 2? It looks too shit to bear that name.
Does look pretty good, obviously it needs some polishing up and fixes. But it is in beta so what can you expect. I do like the cover system they have. Will be watching this game. What engine is this game on? I'll have to give this game a try, it doesn't look too bad, or too great. Might be one of these games the community makes or breaks it.
Looks like a mix of Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead and Counter Strike.
I wouldn't nessecarily call it Counter Strike 2, for all we know it could be another shitty CS clone like Combat Arms and Crossfire.

It's not CS2 at all, but that gameplay footage certainly made me respect it as a project a bit more. I was under the impression that it was going to be a steaming pile of shit, but that looks good. Especially how seamless it is to do the blindfiring, I've never seen effective cover use with blindfiring in a game before, and I like that the hostages actually play a role now.
What the fuck are you all bitching about, what's fucking wrong with it? It looks badass to me.
It looks new, but it looks like it's ran off the source engine, and with my knowledge, trusting asian game makers means buying shitty copy-cats.
I can't believe the shells still eject to the left on most of those guns though god damn
It doesn't look all too great, however I may be wrong.
It looks new, but it looks like it's ran off the source engine, and with my knowledge, trusting asian game makers means buying shitty copy-cats.
Racism, oh yes. The game looks good, but definitely not a CS2. :/
why would you even call this cs2, just because it's by the same guy who created the original cs does not make it cs2.
It looks new, but it looks like it's ran off the source engine, and with my knowledge, trusting asian game makers means buying shitty copy-cats.
The "asian game maker" who is leading this project created counter-strike.
It looks new, but it looks like it's ran off the source engine, and with my knowledge, trusting asian game makers means buying shitty copy-cats.
you know minh le is the creator of cs, right
The "asian game maker" who is leading this project created counter-strike.
Haha, SLAMMED.
you know minh le is the creator of cs, right
It's cool brah, I got this *clenches fist*
wait was that multiplayer gameplay because that had a really cinematic feel to me.
I wouldn't nessecarily call it Counter Strike 2, for all we know it could be another shitty CS clone like Combat Arms and Crossfire.
This is the same creator who created Counter Strike. I think he reserves the right to use his gameplay.
it runs on an updated version of the source engine, probably the same one l4d is run on. How does it look bad?? It looks good imho and this is from the guy who originally made CS so...
The cover system looks cool.
some of the new features I'm aware of... Attack dogs "Use-able" hostages more interactive environments (did you see that cannister) rappelling driving (maybe?)
Wow, I have to say it doesn't look as ugly as it looked six months ago.
Racism, oh yes. The game looks good, but definitely not a CS2. :/
This "asian game maker" happens to be the person who made Counter STrike
It's cool brah, I got this *clenches fist*
you also spelled his name wrong may want to fix that [editline]10:37PM[/editline] just sayin
Looks pretty decent.
I really don't like the lack of sights, especially with the lack of a crosshair.
This is the same creator who created Counter Strike. I think he reserves the right to use his gameplay.
I didn't realize that it was created by the man who made CS, sorry. However, now that I know that, I'm definitely looking forward to this project, looks fucking awesome.
