Unlocking a COD4 CD Key - Games

Right, this is not some bullshit thread for starters. I recently formatted and installed Windows 7. During this process I lost my COD4 installation. I install it again and it tells me key is valid, try to join a server, key already in use. This is no bullshit, I legally own the key and the collectors edition. is there any way for me to free the key and re-use it, I will post pictures if necessary. It is not locked, so unless someone else is using it, you shouldn't have this problem. Or wait a day or so.

Ask the people who make the game, they may be able to help you out or provide you with a new key if you have proof that you have a legal purchase.

I have a feeling Activision won't give a damn at all... This happened to me and I never figured out how to fix it.

Keygen won't give you working online key, don't hope for it.

I formatted my computer with my Call of Duty 4 key registered on it, still, and once I reinstalled it and used the same CD key, it worked fine for me. Don't know what to tell you.

Someone else is using it for sure bro.
