It's coming to Steam as well BG2 was added to the registry last October, and BG1 was added last month!

If it turns out good, i'll consider a purchase. 5 and a half hours 'till we see.

I'm assuming it'll play out a bit like Dragon Age with the turn based. I wouldn't mind too much really, as long as it retains somewhat original gameplay.

I'm preparing myself for disappointment. I mean, the first game can already be played at a higher resolution with better visuals with [URL="http://www.usoutpost31.com/easytutu/"]EasyTutu[/URL]. And since this seems to keep referencing the Infinity Engine, I can't possibly guess what it's going to be except maybe an announcement that it's coming to Steam or maybe they'll one up EasyTutu and make the visuals even better.

Oh my god, this reminds me of a kid in my Civics class Monday. I overheard him talking about Baldur's Gate, so I asked him if he was playing the first or second. He said the second, and that he had just bought it on PS2. I then realized he was playing Dark Alliance 2, so I explained to him there was an original PC version. He then literally told me I was lying and an idiot, then shut me out of the conversation. Excuse me, what? :suicide: Anyway, I'm hoping for a remake. I'm not sure if I would want another game.

Maybe one that continues off the story, and with the possibility to see the aftermath of my actions in the first game. That'd be sweet.

I still bet its going to be an IOS port.

swear to god there better not be a dialogue wheel, that's if this is a remake. (outlining the outcome of your choice of dialogue tkes away the tension for me) or sequel/prequel. I really want a Baldur's Gate prequel taking place in the Time of Troubles.
