So, I'm getting another $50 tomorrow for a game to get on Steam.
I have MW2, Garry's MOD, TF2, etc.. however, I do not own games like Mass Effect, Fallout 3, or Left 4 Dead 2.
However, we are only going to focus on two:
What would be a better choice, Fallout 3, or Left 4 Dead 2?
i'll probably just go with fallout 3 anyway but i still wanna see what you guys have to say :smug:
If you have a lot of friends to play with, go for L4D2.
Both are a great choice at any rate.
Fallout 3 game of the year edition man. It's 50 dollars with the original game and all dlcs. Believe me, I'm going on 100 hours of gameplay already, it's well worth it. Lot's of places to explore, lots of things to kill. Fyi it's real deep on it's rpg statis so I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

+1 for Fallout 3. I heard the GOTY with all the DLC has almost 200+ hours of gameplay.

It is, I'm not even done with all the DLCs. Hours can go by as I'm playing it and I wont even realize it. It's just really fucking great.
Mass Effect and it's sequel are better than both. But will only last you once every few months. So... I enjoyed Fallout 3, the DLC is only okay. But there is a lot.

I would go for FO3
Get the Fallout 3 GOTY, I have over 400 hours on it simply because of the massive amount of mods it has.
Fallout 3's pretty okay, but the amount of enhancement mods out there make up for it.
L4D2 if you have loads of friends with it.
Fallout 3 because it has loads of mods.
It's really up to which one you rather.

Yea, but its no where near the RPG status of Oblivion, which actually focused on your stats and they played a huge impact.
is the V.A.T.S bug been fixed?
All I remember from Fallout 3 is if you had AA on or something when you went into V.A.T.S it would just drop your fps to like 5.

Erm, I suppose that is for certain setups as it doesnt affect me....
While not a huge fan of it, I gotta say that if you want a lot of bang for your buck, Fallout 3 is the way to go.

Fallout 3 is one of my favourite games.
Also you should look at Just Cause 2.
GOTY Fallout 3 all the way, but if you have friends that are usually on, get l4d2
Buy Fallout 3 GOTY edition, it's a really great game and I've clocked in over 60+ hours into it, and that's without the DLCs.
