Being a fan of Wolfinstein ET, I was very excited to pick up ET: Quake wars :3. Both containing similar concepts but entirely different games. Quake wars obviously in an entirely different universe, vehicles, larger maps, better graphics and as a whole a much better game to satisfy any Wolfinstein ET players. The GDF(Global Defense Force) is pit against Strogg to protect the earth from annihilation.
Many gamers mistaken ET: Quake Wars as a Battlefield 2 wannabe which damaged sales. Despite this it still contains plenty of full servers and competitive clans. It's a great mix of a fast paced & tactical shooter offering attack and defend type maps spanning across different regions of the world.

tell me your email
I nearly bought this before reading it was a battlefield clone. Although the screenshots you have are really cool. Might pick it up at some point.

No, I said gamers mistaked it as a Battlefield Clone.
I had played much of the demo and I liked it.
Are there still only a few maps?
I have it sitting on my shelf since i bought it at release.
How many people play nowadays, i may resume..
I thought the only good thing about the game was sniping as the GDF.

Why :v:

There's 12 maps total, enough for me.
I've played this before. Was fairly good. As in most online games, voice communication really makes this game that much more fun. I suggest a buy.
I should've bought the PC version :c I may buy it again.
I'd get this game but I've heard the community is lacking. Anyone wanna get it for me to raise the community? :v: Steam name is The Fact Engineer
Are there unofficial maps for the game now?
I used to play this game a lot, but for some reason it lags like hell now. I used to run it fine, but now every time I play it lags, even on the lowest settings. :(

You fight aliens, deploy turrets, plant bombs, escort a MCP, Attack defend gametype, etc.
Far from BF2.

I would love it though. It may be a clone but it's still fun. My email is Braden.Timss@gmail.com. I can't get on my computer, but I can supply a iptorrens invite f anyone would be nice and purchase it for me!
Don't listen to me just play the demo.
Do more people play this than Wolfenstein ET?
Goddamn I love that game so much.
Is this better than ET?
Goddamn I hate that game so much.
I remember playing the multiplayer beta, I was going to buy it, but none of my friends have it/wanted it, so I never did.
Demonoid invite if anyone wants to buy me it.
lol @ all scrubs thinking this is a Battlefield clone.
community died too quickly
community died too quickly
Theres still a community, it just exists entirely for the competitive side of things. You can no longer casually play this game

Fuck. Then I don't want this game.

Probably worded it a bit strongly, there are a lot of none-pro servers, but the outside community is more like CS and Quake than Battlefield and Call of Duty.
Well now I really don't know if I want it or not, I'm just confused.
