A friend of mine is unable to save his replays on source games. He doesn't have a facepunch profile, so I'm posting this on his behalf.
His problem, and what he's tried.
11:03 PM - Parrot Grass: I get this in the console every time I try to save a replay:
Replay error system: The session info file failed to download: Can't connect.
I have never been to the replay editor and probably never will at this rate.
Every time on every single server, replays will not save. I always get "Download failed" along with an error replay being kept.
I have:
-tried installing Quicktime/alternative
-The latest TF2 version
-A fast computer
-Deleted Clientregistry.blob
-Deleted both TF2 bins
-Never used replays on custom maps
-Done a complete re-install
-Verified integrity of the game cache
-De-fragmented cache files
-Allowed all downloads
-Disabled Firewall
-Tried fast download servers
-Tried EVERY SERVER
-Been unable to record for almost a year
-Tears
-Sent a support ticket (They gave up on me.)
It's very rare that I ask for help on the forums, so If I'm missing anything vitally important let me know and I'll get it from him.
Thanks for your time.
Its probably an issue with his internet, make sure he checks his proxy forwarding.
Also tell him to port-forward port 27015 to 27020
He says it didn't work for him, any other ideas?

what hard-drive does he have his games in (if he has more than one, C: D: F:, etc ?)
What is the file-structure for his games (E.X: "C:/games/steam/steamapps/user/tf2/tf2")
Is he the only user account on his PC ?
They're all on C. File structure is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\putty5\team fortress 2\tf, and he's the only user.
