Well the title says it most, i haven't played since like January (if not December Last year), not sure exactly.. Anyway i've got a 79 Draenei Warrior Tank spec'd, and fairly decent if you ask me, but i stopped due to school work. It's all over now, so is it worth continuing?
Is lvl 80 actually entertaining enough, i mean i'm up for raids and such but are there still lots of people playing because some people kept telling me it's dull and dying :P
( I also have a 71 Belf Hunter and a 72 Human Pally )

level 80 is boring most of the time and i constantly find myself collecting heirlooms so i can level alts with even less effort

If your 79 you might as well.
If only so you can see a couple of end game raids.
The game only truly begins after you hit 80. Trust me when I say this.
It's all competition. Who can get the better gear, who can have a better arena rating, who can have better raid attendance, all of it. There's so much shit to do.
Of course eventually you get bored, but that's where alts come in.
