All my friends play it, and I hate them for it, they get sucked into it. I play a fair bit of MW2. I have tried SO many trials of WoW, it just hasn't sucked me in enough to make me think i want to buy it. I would play it if I had the money but I simply don't have the cash to fund (£8?) a month for it, has anyone got any suggestions to make the game more interesting.
Cause at a low level all you do is kill lvl 1/2 animals and do a few quests, is it more interesting at higher levels?
It gets way better once you get past level 58 and go to Outlands. But the bottom line is, if you've tried it lots of times and it hasn't so much has peaked your interest then chances are it never will, MMOs are obviously not for you.
Also, why hate your friends for playing WoW? It's just something they enjoy, there's no reason to hate them over it.. I could say I hate all MW2 players because I don't like MW2, but that's just stupid and unfounded.
Ask you friends to use the recruit a friend feature, you'll level up really fast and it's a hell of a lot more fun when you're playing with friends. It gets a lot better at higher levels as you get to do instances and stuff in groups.

Also outlands is awesome
Actually get together with your friends and play, its 10X better playing with someone
missing the real issue here, if you can't fund it, even if you do like it, you can't play it...

If I find a way to make it fun, it will make me find a way to fund it, I'm 15

Find a group of friends and stick with them
WoW in groups= awesome
If you can't then you don't have to play WoW no one forces you to play it I don't care about the fact 11 million play it now I still play WoW because I like it
pretty much ^ this then, if you can get a freind to recruit you then it will seem so much better
if you can't do that ask in your major cities to recomend you the largest leveling guild on your server and see if you can join that
You do pretty much the same thing in Outlands (I can't speak for Northren yet). Though Outlands is a fucking blast to explore and looks cool, you still kill x amount of monsters and fetch quests for the majority of the quests

This does really change in Northrend.
I mean, of course there are still some quests like that, but there are a lot more that aren't like that.
Now you can level up in bg to.... thats fun
Is There A Way To NOT Enjoy WoW?

I noticed one Death Knight quest had you burning down a village on a fucking wyrm holy SHIT....right after that you go kill ten snow mooses
Is it that hard to design involving quests? Blizzard wants quantity over quality, why not just had less quests for better rewards and you know, not kill 50+ moon bears to get 10 moon bear claws
Save 50 pence every day for the whole month and you're done. If you get 1,5 pounds of lunch money every full school day, just save 50 pence each time and you got the money in no time.
The game really sucks until 20, after that, you start enjoying your class or not.

I don't actually get lunch money since I take my own lunch to School, and the reason that I don't get pocket money is because money gets spent on me here and there, for instance I subsidised £10 towards BFBC2 and my Mum added £30 to it
I've got a few tips for you.
1) Choose the class that most fits you. I am a Hunter because I loved the idea of taming beasts to be as my pets - and that worked out. So should you pick the class that you think sounds good and fits your tastes. Same applies to your race, pick the one that suits you! I'm a dwarf because I'm short in real life as well and because I love their culture.
2) Use the Dungeon Finder often. This brings you into the social aspect of the game easier, you get to work as a group and reap the rewards. Who knows, maybe you'll make some lifetime WoW buddies to play with later!
3) Enjoy the lore. The game is packed with it and there's a lot of quests full of it. Especially I recommend the Alliance side questlines starting at 53 - bringing you to Blackrock Depths and other amazing places - and the Defias questline which is also badass.
4) Don't give up! While the game will be a grind, a real pain in the ass at sometimes at that, it gets better and better as you level up. Especially the Outland quests are fun - and you get to fly around on a flying mount which makes the game seem way less tedious than it is!

Those are great tips for beginners. I love the lore behind this game, and the dungeon finder is awesome. Don't spend a lot of gold for armor and weapons in the beginning. In the instances, there's a lot of great gear for low level players. Remember to level your professions while you are leveling! I have skinning and enchanting on my rogue. Skinning is very lucrative on my realms(Archimonde and whisperwind). I use enchanting so I can give my gear a little boost, and there is always someone looking to have enchants.

I'd have to agree with this straight on. Don't ask other people what you should play, because you'll be doubting yourself later on.
