Hey, I'm searching a new game. I am a bit bored.
Basicly it should be an RTS where you build bases or forts and defend them, like RTS but which can be played defensive. I don't know many games, AOE is a good one you can build whole lot of stuff an be a defensive player.
Any other recommendations? :buddy:
just play C&C on skirmish
The Stronghold games are good for defences. It requires some minor micro management tho.
The old Cnc are okay yeah I Stronghold games are awesome too.
Empires Dawn of the Modern World.
The game's combat is shit, but the Empire managment and defensive capabilities are pretty neat. You can put gates into walls, set patrol paths for units, use innovations (e.g Germany you can employ Blitzkrieg on a area of enemy units and they take more damage for a minute or two or for Russia you can use "Russian Steamroller" and Conscripts get pumped out of Barracks every second)
The game is heavily based on history as well, so it's a history lesson in a game!
Supreme Commander/Total Annihilation are both awesome games for turtling. You can win by just building up an impenetrable base, and then loads of artillery turrets and nuke launchers.
Dwarf fortress if you actually have the will to learn it.
Plants vs. Zombies
Supreme commander.
Harvest: Massive Encounter. It's on steam and basically 100% all about defense.
soase
There are a few custom maps in Warcraft 3 that are exactly like that, not sure what the maps are called though.
