I thought my friend was going to have to buy me World of Goo because my credit card wasn't working. He attempted to buy it, but the purchase was "declined." I then got it to work, and a little while later his transaction went though. Now I have the game and an unopened gift from him.
What will happen if I open it? If he opens the link in his browser, will it give it to him?
You could try to contact steam support they might refund his cash
Whoops. He got an option to resend and he gifted it to himself. Problem solved.
