It has come to my attention that in The Escapist, a forum that a friend of mine frequents, is having an election on who is the best game developer. As of right now, Valve has made it to the last bracket. Unfortunately, so has Zynga, the creators of Farmville and Mafia Wars, with no other noteworthy creations to my knowledge. Even more frightening is that Zynga is currently in the lead. However, with a mere ~100 vote lead, I decided that it would be best to invoke the power of Facepunch to show this forum that Facebook apps are not, and never shall be, considered greater works of art than Valve's many Half-Life games.

Like many people on the thread have said - Zynga should not be on the list because it doesn't even develop commercially sold games. Maybe next year they'll get it right as to not fudge up the numbers.
