Hey everyone, this is my first post on here, so be kind to the noob. I'm trying to get source control so my friend and I can mod/create things together but on separate computers. I tried using Perforce, but I had a lot of difficulty setting it up, even with the Valve Developer Community tutorial page.
When I was copying my files it only copied a bunch of .txt files and things of that nature that did not look anything like what was supposed to go into the folder for transition.
Does anyone have any experience with source control to know what I should do/ turn to? Your help will be VERY MUCH appreciated, so thanks in advance.
p.s. I looked on google and stuff, and couldn't really find anything with my specific problems...
All these modders and mod teams and not one of you use source control? I find that hard to believe.
