Ever heard of Captain Forever? It's a game where you fly around in a spaceship made with the parts of OTHER ships! That's right, now you can finally wear your enemy's arm as a hat and steal his weapons as a bonus.

[B]How to play:[/B]
You start out by having some blue little guy(whom you can destroy too, with enough shots) give you a bunch of starter parts.

Drag them onto your control module(the red little block you fly with) and try to place them in a balanced pattern, so your thrusters won't end up spinning your ship around more than it should. These are all green parts, the weakest form. You have to kill others to get better parts.

Now, these parts, like I said, are fairly weak. Yellow parts are slightly better(the turret fires twice as fast, for instance), so let's go find a yellow ship. Having more strong parts will automatically make us more strong. Oh, and it'll piss every vigilante around off. The little LAW bar at the top shows how pissed everyone is, kind of like the Wanted level in GTA. Some peaceful merchants will still hang around at the top level though, so you still have some advantages of surprise. Anyway, enough of that, let's find an easy target.

Boy, that sure is a spiffy new ship! You may have noticed I left a thruster behind. That's because I couldn't have it on without ruining the balance. The yellow thruster is slightly more powerful, after all.
And that's all there is to the game. Just kill a bunch of enemies and make one hell of a cool ship. Remember, if it's a color you haven't seen before, it's usually stronger. :buddy:

I used to play this game a lot at school. It was nice, but i hated it when an enemy thats 3 times bigger than your needs only one shot to completely ruin your ship
Game is fun as hell, but I always wind up getting assraped by puples and whites less than 5 minutes in, even with an empty law bar.
I always loved the music that plays during each shot. Makes me wish I had faster turrets.

In captain successor you can get parts that speed up your guns and if you get 8 of them your guns fire at a rate of 25 times faster than normal.
If anyone needs some tips, I can help. I'll tell you now, when you get to kilo, don't pick up Juliet parts, just run. There isn't time to rebuild between those two stages. Also, the kilos come in densely enough so that you can just hide behind another one, and all his friends will kill him.
I love this game! If I ever get paypal with money on it then I am going to buy the better version of it with many more features!

You need to remove older parts. Green is useless after a few levels, and you need all the speed you can get with later levels. Your size makes you easier to hit.

It's essentially the level you are in the game, like world 1-1, or 1-2 or 1-3 and so on

I tried that when my guns got shot, but It didn't seem to do anything.
Just tried it and it's really addicting..

I got to about 34:40 before some rainbow colored ships nuked me. This was after I managed to take down a Juliet ship with only the red brain part of the ship and a foxtrot laser.
I managed to kill a cyan...
... and then 3 whites popped in 10 seconds while I was rebuilding my ship and they insta killed me :saddowns:

I usually make my ships with the more powerful guns on the sides, then go for broadside attacks like a pirate ship.
Whenever I play this game it goes a bit like this "Oh god this game is awesome I love it my ship rocks dick" then suddenly, gangrape, and "FUCKING CHRIST I HATE THIS GAME FUCK"
