• What Perks Dont You Want In Modern Warfare 2?

So far, only two perks have been confirmed for Modern Warfare 2, Martyrdom, and Riot Shields. What would you like to see return or not be in the new game? In my opinion, shades and gas mask should get booted. They were very situational and didn't help me at all. Jugger(noob)naut and Stopping Power should stay. Stopping power made bolt action rifles in World at War without scopes quite good weapons, while Jugg was easy to counteract of you had the ability to aim at the enemies head. What do you think?
Wait, Martydrom is still gonna be in MW2? Fuck.
Stopping Power so I kick all those Juggernauts asses.
I thought they took out all the perks like martydom in MW2?
Juggernaut, last stand. That's it. It makes the game far too arcadey. Don't tell me to play hardcore, because a pistol shot to the foot there can kill you. I just don't like how juggernaut gives you 3x HP, and last stand gives you a second chance (And you can't shoot them while they're falling down, you have to wait for them to hit the ground before you can do any damage to them again)

Martyrdom in hardcore mode is just plain unfair.
I've never had a problem with martyrdom. After playing the game for many hours, you get the reflex of sprinting away from anybody that just died near you incase they have a grenade drop.
I like using Martyrdom on Hardcore. Edit: With Juggernaut and Last Stand too.
this entire thread is going to be mainly comprised of rage and hate for last stand, juggernaut, and matyrdom. Why not make this a thread for perks we love? feel the love, my brothers and sisters!

Anyone who says any of these "Juggernaut, Last stand, martydom" would get flamed to shit.
...Good point, I retract my previous statement.
I don't see what's so bad about Jugger, it's mostly a defense against snipers more than anything else. Because if you're running across an open area and a sniper takes a shot at you, but is blocked by your Jugger, that might be his only chance to shoot you, and you can escape. If you're on the frontlines with an SMG or an assault rifle you can just keep shooting until the Jugger dies.
Well the first thing I thought of was eavesdrop, It's just a waste of space. I don't really have a problem with juggernaut, martyrdom or last stand.
Killstreaks. I love being spawn camped by bombs, killed by a flying aimbot, and found via radar.
I don't mind Last Stand, since I've never been killed by a last-stander, ever. I'm actually happy to see people using it cause they have wasted a perk slot and I know I will gain an advantage over them at a particular situation.
Eavesdrop really was never used. None of my friends used it either.
Also, I love throwing nades at last-standers and laugh at how helpless they are :D
If you're on the frontlines with an SMG or an assault rifle you can just keep shooting until the Jugger dies.
Or until you die because he has 3 times more health than you.
I don't want any perks, I'd prefer it to be something like "Enchanced firing mechanism" instead of "Double Tap". Anyways I'd prefer not to see martyrdom, but I guess it's still going to be in. I don't really like Juggernaut either, but as long as there is Stopping Power it's somewhat ok. Personaly I think that Juggernaut should be a heavier body armour you can carry instead, therefore also slowing you down, Martyrdom should be done by you meaning that when you know you are about to die you should pull the pin of a grenade, and Last Stand should be triggered if you got hit in some non-instantly lethal spot (but still lethal over a short time). All of this would give it a more realistic and less arcade feeling while still keeping it ejoyable.
I love how only 4 people so far have MARTYRDOM spelled correctly. E: 5 people.
Stopping power (more damage), sleight of hand (fast reloading), double tap (faster firing), last stand (last stand), deep impact (shit goes throught things with an ease) and uav jammer should be in the nest game, though i don't really care.
12-year olds in gaming community+shitty servers
i have never heard a 12 year old talk in mw1. well maybe if you're stupid enough to buy mw1 for 360 instead of pc maybe you can hear some 12 year olds.
One of those fake heartbeat pucks like in rainbow six, probably for the special grenade slots.
I've never had a problem with any of the perks except Martyrdom when in hardcore.

Juggernaut and maybe replace Eavesdrop with something a bit more useful.
I just want them to get rid of hardcore, it's no fun at all. I had a little go playing CoD4 the other day after not playing for ages, I found that my stats had been reset, and that every single server used hardcore. In Hardcore nobody aims, you die from random shots and a pistol is far more effective than most guns in the game.
There's plenty more people who prefer Hardcore over the normal game so removing it would be one of the worst things they could do. I find it irritating when people whine about perks, they're all perfectly avoidable if you use an extra brain cell or two. Martyrdom can be avoided by using your ears just a little bit and the others can be avoided by not frothing at the mouth and charging face first into people to kill them. However, if World at War's attack dogs are in, I'll be annoyed. They may have been easy to cut open with your knife, but when they came in a pack...
