Not everyone has a powerful computer or Xbox.
I have both a PC and an XBOX. I dunno, but I think I prefer the console. I don't know why, but it just feels... comfortable =/
I just can't see portal working as well on any console. It seems perfectly suited for the PC, obviously they want to increase sales by selling to console players, but why bother spending even more time changing all the code to a format the PS3 can understand. At least the Xbox is only a little bit away from the PC.

I'll probably just get it for Xbox for the co-op.
I only have a few friends with Steam, but they probably wouldn't play Portal.

People like that give PS3 players a bad name. It's a great system, but in my opinion it should only be owned with a good PC alongside it. That way you get the PS3 exclusives and most of the MS exclusive games all together.

what about the times when you need to do a fucking 360 to make another portal on the ground so you go flying forwards?
hard with joysticks I would imagine and I bet Valve would throw in some Six Axis for shits and giggles and would make it totally unplayable.
I originally played portal on my ps3, that was a couple days before i got my pc. PCPS3 is the best combo this gen, PC360, no offence, has to be the least. it also makes the least sense.
